Lazeez — Restaurant in Liège

For this evening (31/12/2024) there was a fixed menu which we didn't know (it was not clearly mentioned on the website when we made the reservation) and we had to choose between meat and vegetarian. We chose 2x meat and 2x veggie. Started with mushroom soup (with sidedish) which was nice. Maincourse + salad looked very well and tasted likewise. The lamb was excelent. After this we really had no room for desert and we didn't want to order any desert to avoid unneccesary food spilling. Unfortunately there was no deduction for this (not even one € as gesture of goodwill) and we had to pay the full price of the 4 menu's.... It's not about the money because I would have left a good tip since the food was excelent. Now I paid without tip and just 4...

We opened our fast during Ramadan here. And all the reviews are true.

We were greeted with love & kindness. Before we had our food we promptly got our drinks, with some dates and water (to open our fast). After which we enjoyed special home made soup.

The lovely waiting staff were helpful in selecting the right menus for our meal.

And what a meal it was! From entre to main course to dessert. Lazeez scores 5/5 A very difficult feat to accomplish.

The fact that the place was packed on a Tuesday evening should tell you everything about the quality of the food.

Lovely Palestinian run restaurant in Leige Belgium. Yes it’s halal. Good choice of food, excellent service and atmosphere.

Went here on a Friday evening the place was packed but luckily they got us a table. I’d suggest booking in advance especially if you’re a larger group.

Sat outside but when I popped to see the inside of the restaurant it was a much nicer with music playing and a cosier feel.

Based in the centre of the city it’s an easy place to find with car parks available within a few minutes waking.
