Can't comment on food as we didn't eat here. Just drinks. I loved this bar. It was my favourite when we were in Mechelen. Well joint favourite, with bier central, but different places different vibes.

Kind of chill but awake, relaxed but buzzing. Good choice of beers and as always in Flanders, if you're not sure which specific one you want, you can always ask for a recommendation. Outside is sort of in two areas, immediately outside the bar, and then across and along a bit next to the river. We didn't sit inside, just because it was a nice night outside, but going in to use the loo, the place is gorgeous. If I was there on a cooler evening I could certainly relax...

Prachtig bruine kroeg gelegen op de vismarkt te Mehelen. Het plein vooraan bestaat uit verschillende terrasjes met uitzicht op de brouwerij Lamot, 🚤cultuurbootjes,... (Bootjes varen de Dijlen af met schippers, je mag er drank en eten meenemen)

Het cafe is nog steeds het authentieke als de tijd van toen.

Prachtig onderhouden, zeer netjes Heel hygiënische toiletten op het 1e verdiep, enkel via een trap.

Zeer aangename, romantische rustige sfeer met echte kaarsen die het gevoel alleen maar warmer maken.

Zeer lieve bediening op het terras, ook de medewerkers binnen waren zeer opgewekt en vriendelijk.
