Et Alors — Restaurant in Ostend

This was the worst bar I have ever been to. The manager and the waiter screamed at me and affronted me in front of my friends while I was just trying to enjoy my holiday. Their table was very wobbly outside and tipped the drink just as it had been served to us. I asked them if they would kindly remake it given it was a sad accident and THEIR WOBBLY TABLE and they said no we’d have to pay again for the whole new cocktail. I had already bought 3 drinks there , it is customary to just make a new one when something like that happens- decent customer service. Instead the manager screamed at me and said who’s fault is it that the table is wobbly and told me to get out and I don’t need to be here , shouting at me in front of everyone. I was humiliated and it really ruined my Holiday. I have never experienced such aggression in my life. I would never go here again. I regret ever going. Worst espresso and cappuccino that we drank since years... Espresso watery and bitter, Cappuccino without milk foam and definitely too hot. It's obvious the barista did not pass the exams in espresso and cappuccino microcredentials. All in all, far from being worth the 8 Euros they asked. One doesn't pay for the place alone, there should be also some quality in the food stuff,...

An der Promenade von Ostende mit einer tollen Aussicht vor allem bei Sonnenuntergang. Sehr schöne Inneneinrichtung im Retrostyle. Bei der Schokolade gab es Marsmellow und einen Keks dazu, dass war nett. Die Bedienung war leider total überfordert mit dem Besuch eines behinderten jungen Mannes, der spastisch gelähmt war. Über einen Computer konnte der Mann einen Cappuccino bestellen. Dieser wurde auch gebracht aber einfach auf den Tisch gestellt ohne sich Gedanken zu machen wie dieser getrunken werden konnte. Dank der Hilfe unserer Freundin kam der junge Mann dann in den Genuss des cappucinos. Sie hat das Getränk einfach in den dafür vorgesehenen Becher am Rollstuhl umgefüllt. Im Portemonnaie konnte die Bedienung aber schnell rumwühlen. Vielleicht sollte man die Bedienung im Umgang mit behinderten Menschen etwas sensibilisieren, damit diese trotz ihrer Behinderung einen schönen Tag auf der Terrasse verbringen können. Man sollte ihnen Hilfestellung geben und man sollte sich hier wirklich bemühen.
