Ornina Syrian Sweets — Restaurant in Saint-Josse-ten-Noode - Sint-Joost-ten-Node

I ordered a 2good2go on the 8th of november for the 9th of november. However, the shop was closed, probably due to the national strike, and noone answered the phone.

It's understandable (but not foreseeable) that they're closed, but they could've warned me sometime during the day, so I didn't' have to bike all the way over there. I don't want to be too harsh, because I've been told the owners are lovely and the products are great. Maybe I just got very unlucky. Hopefully next time will be better and I can revisit this review.

If you are looking for real authentic Syrian sweets, then this is where you should go. We tried Kunafeh and a mix of other sweets with some tea, and everything was so delicious. Indeed, the kindness and nice service also made it such an experience. At the end, I asked them if they make (Ghraybeh bil Eshta) and they told me they could make it for me within 15minutes!!!! When it was ready, I was astonished by the smell and taste because this is something I tasted in Damascus and was never able to find with the same quality anywhere else, so eating it again broght me back all the memories of when I visited beloved Damascus. I have been to this place last Friday and I was very welcomed with a big smile of a kind lady who works there. How needed this type of people is! They are very generous and offered me to taste a couple of their products, which I found it a very friendly gesture.

They are not located in a fancy area, however, their sweets tastes authentic and delicious. I highly recommend to visit them, you wont regret.
