Your experience here will vary enormously according to who is the waitress and chef that day. The first time we went there was a really pleasant waitress, and a chef who had some knowledge of how to make pizzas who was willing to do a Neapolitana even though it's not on the menu. The second (and definitely last) time there was some sour-faced obnoxious individual who clearly fancied herself as Sophia Loren, and spent the whole time cackling in laughter at something side-splitting on her phone. The 'chef' was some sort of amalgamation of various Sacha Baron Cohen characters who clearly had not the remotest idea what he was doing, other than how to dance around the kitchen to his music. You can see what's happening in the kitchen, and as the first pizza came out he and the waitress were pointing and laughing at it. Completely over-salted as usual to cover up the poor basic ingredients. The only plus point is that they have a decent Italian craft beer - other than that, forget it, or hope you come...
Read moreI waited for 1 hour and 10 minutes, even though the owner told me it would only be “20 minutes” for a marinara pizza. People who arrived after me received their pizzas before I did. I’m not sure if this was an oversight or something else, but it felt unfair.
Response to the owner's comment: I raised a polite concern, and the owner responded with borderline profanity. Looking at other reviews, this seems to be a pattern—customers point out issues respectfully, and the owner replies with arrogance and blame instead of fixing the problem.
I didn’t plan my visit around a discount, but the owner's assumption that I came just for cheap pizza is insulting. Does this place only respect big spenders and look down on anyone else?
Good luck with this elitist, greed-driven attitude—straight out of 18th-century capitalism. Hopefully, other customers receive the basic respect I...
Read moreMy on-line order for pick up via their website was simply ignored. No apology whatsoever when I showed up to pick up my order... "I am too busy to look at those and it probably went into spam." Just when I thought I would wait for the order to be made - with no priority of course, since it is "my fault" anyway - I am told that now that I have plenty of time I should walk to the cash machine and pay cash so that they can give the Wednesday promotion. Because although it is not written anywhere, I was very rudely told that the promotion only applies to cash payments. Apparently all their customers know that, so they do not need to write it down. I wonder whether it is the establishment or the state giving the promotion in the end... Thanks, but no thanks! A former...
