We went to L’Harmony for dinner with friends on their first night in Brussels. Upon arrival, we noted the place was full. The staff were friendly and welcoming, showing us options to our reserved seats. We were given bread and butter straightaway whilst perusing the menu and the fine wine list. We ordered the goat cheese salad for a starter, and the escalopes, Italian tartare, ribeye, and kids’ fish & chips for main course. All meals were sensational and portion sizes were generous. The meals were rich, tasty and delicious, the Primitivo was excellent, and so were the crème brûlée and the mousse au chocolat. It was a truly special welcome dinner for our newcomers. On top of the above, the superb staff were attentive, calm and smiling throughout the evening, switching from French to English with ease depending on their customers' needs, even though the restaurant was so busy. They all were friendly and helpful and, combined with the extraordinary food, created a harmonious atmosphere worthy of the restaurant’s name. A very special mention to Lori, an excellent and witty hostess. Thank you all at L'Harmony for our truly remarkable evening! We’ll...
Read moreI booked a table for four (10 days in advance) and I confirmed in my reservation that we would bring our 2 kids (with strollers). 2h before the dinner I received a call from the restaurant and someone complained that during weekends there is no space for 2 strollers, but they said we should come and they would find a solution. When we arrived I've immediately heard a comment from them that out stroller is 'big' and that we can have either a table just for one hour or sit at the high table but kids would need to stay in their strollers for the whole time... so we were forced to leave the restaurant without eating. I was super disappointed as we had guests and I wanted to have nice time with them. You can probably imagine that it is not so easy to plan a dinner outside if you have kids under 2, but now I know that l'harmony is not the most kid friendly place -...
Read moreOverall disappointed by the venue... Chose this location because the overalls reviews were quite good. The restaurant it's self is quite nice, the atmosphere is good all pointed out to a good evening. First surprise was the length of the menu...so much choice, almost too much choice, makes you wonder on the quality control for all the products... Any how, our dishes come, nice presentation of the dish but it stops there, not much taste and sauce over cooked... The desert is were it really hurt, the crème brûlée had a think layer off caramel, it's suppose to be a thin layer because of the the crème was hot... Then I had the Tarte Tatin... I have a strong feeling that it was reheated in the microwave, the crust is suppose to be nice and crispy, here it was soggy and full of syrup... Overall advice, untill the change the menu don't go there,...
