La Barchetta — Restaurant in Woluwe-Saint-Pierre - Sint-Pieters-Woluwe

Super disappointing. We eat out many times a week. And we have tried several things on the menu of this restaurant over the last 2 years . The food is very average the pizzas are okeyish ( all is relative but don’t expect too much and you’ll be ok. ) However service is worthless. The reason we come here is the outside terrace in the sun. Today we arrived and wanted the outside table which was free. We were sent away as the waiter told us “ people will ask me to take out more tables so I don’t serve you”. We ate someplace else but walking back there was a couple eating pizza on the terrace.

Buon ristorante italiano dove si mangia veramente come in Italia. Ambiente accogliente, servizio rapido , il personale è italiano.. addirittura il pizzaiolo che fa una pizza molto buona , sottile ‘alla romana’. Abbiamo preso una pizza margherita(10€), cannelloni fatti in casa ricotta e spinaci (€14) serviti in una pirofila rotonda,tiramisù con caffè e Amaretto di Saronno(€6),1 lt di acqua Panna in bottiglia di vetro (€8). Tutto molto buono . Prima di portarci da mangiare ci hanno offerto un cestino di paninetti fatti nel forno a legna accompagnati da 2 piccoli panetti di burro .I prezzi sono medio alti, in standard con i prezzi di Bx . L’unica cosa che ho trovato veramente esagerata è pagare 1 litro d’acqua 8 €.. eccessivo!!!! Il locale e arredato con cura, le pareti sono dipinte con disegni/ paesaggi di mare. Ampio locale interno e dehors esterno. I bagni sono molto puliti ma non accessibili alle persone in sedia a rotelle 🧑‍🦽 perché le porte d’ingresso sono un po’ strette. I 🐶 🐕 sono accettati e questo è una cosa che apprezzo molto. Pagamento anche con carte 💳 Wifi gratuito per i clienti.

Promptly served good pizza that we all happily ate. We were so pleased with the pizza. Friendly staff. Good cappuccino and espresso. Surprisingly large number of covers inside and go of for children. Enjoyed my sabayon,but didn't like the wine they used in the recipe. NO DEBIT CARDS-NO MISTERCASH/BANCONTACT. But they do take VISA-MasterCard and Cash. IN WINTER : NO OUTDOOR SERVICE ONLY FOR SMOKERS. so we didn't eat there...
