Singanga Restaurant at Hamanasi Resort — Restaurant in Stann Creek District

Probably the best meal we had in Belize. We were not staying at the resort so it was quite difficult to make the reservations, some of the phone lines listed online did not work. Our reservation was also not communicated bw the front desk and the restaurant so when we arrived there was visible confusion and frustration on the face of the server and his supervisor.

After sitting awhile we were ready to order everything but our server ran off after the drink order and we sat around another 15 min till a second server took our order.

Other than those two things the meal was stunning(except for the tomato tart). I will look into staying at the Hanamassi next year as eating at this restaurant every day would be a treat and it appears that meals there are included with many of the packages.

If you are staying in Hopkins and want a taste of the fine life I highly recommend you make a trip out to the Singanga. Even with it being the most expensive meal of the week it was still incredibly cheap compared to an equivalent...

This restaurant is fabulous in every way. The location, the staff, the food & drinks. Our very friendly waitress even asked and remembered each of our names at our table of 6, plus everyone's orders! It was such a beautiful setting and our lunches were fantastic. Highly recommend a stop here for a meal if you're in the area. The hotel looks gorgeous as well, but we were staying in a different area. I'd love to come back to the Hamanasi hotel for a stay next time and for sure...

The Singanga restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail and the service from the staff is superb. I've been here for dinner and lunch and the food most certainly doesn't disappoint. Jackiva was simply amazing she gave recommendations and and had me laughing the entire time. Darell kept the drinks coming and always had a smile and good stories.
