Flanagan’s Irish Pub — Restaurant in City of Hamilton

Flanagan’s is conveniently located in the heart of Hamilton. They have balcony seating which overlooks the water. The inside is pretty dark so we opted to sit on the balcony and enjoy the nice weather. The fish chowder dish was absolutely amazing. The dish is spicy so if you don’t like spice steer clear of the chowder. The Mac N Cheese has more cheese than noodles which is great in my book. The BBQ ribs tasted more boiled than grilled and the teriyaki non breaded chicken wings had a unusual taste to them. Beware that tip is included in check and Bermuda is expensive (over $115 for 4 beers, 1 small cheese pizza and chicken tender app - this is before the overcharge noted later). Atmosphere was quiet and nice. food was bland. Service was pleasant BUT we were charged for 1 extra beer ($15) and we paid in US$. Mistakes can be made, right? Who gave this Restaurant a 4.7. Is he really from Hell’s Kitchen. Shepard pie was ok. Margaritas were horrible, rot gut. My friends order Sunday prime rib medium , came well done. Awful meat.
