Located in a quiet area in central BH you will find this gastronomic oasis. We were advised to arrive early as it’s first come first served here and the reservations are in advance and cater to the local BH Bon viveurs. I have read here that the experience cannot be bettered for good eats in this city. I have yet to try Glouton for their tasting menu: a referenced rival ? We were impressed by # of waiters per person. No worries as to personal service! The couverture: melon balls; herb butter; pâté; and marinated tomatoes; 3 varieties of bread (not 100% fresh tho v minor point). We were fairly sated after le soupe l’oignon and it was generous in volume: well balanced, not too salty, lots of onion and a good quality cheese (overflowing on sides as you can see). A starter of tuna salad was fresh ( leaves and tuna). After all there was still a 7 hour cooked lamb offering to come. I had just enough capacity to take a few bites and miss a dessert. As the airport hotel featured hospital food at best we decided to ask the waiter to pack the piece de resistance and ask the staff if they would care to experience… Thank-you! We hope to return at least for dessert (seemed noteworthy)…Salut

Taste-Vin was one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. The place is cozy, the menu has the right size, staff is very nice. Prices are high, it is expensive, but it delivers what it charges. A place like this in São Paulo or Rio would be more expensive. It is a fancy restaurant. Their dishes are wonderful. The chef, which is the person who takes your food choice, gives nice smells to the food and this is amazing for improving your experience there. I strongly recommend going to Taste-Vin.

A comida é boa? Sim, boa!

I can’t recommend this restaurant. One of the worst experiences I ever had. The service is terrible, completely careless, they treated us like they were doing us a huge favor. I asked for the onion soup and the soufflé “chèvre, thym et huile d’olive”. First of all, why so much cheese on everything?! Also, what an ugly and sloppy presentation. The soup was full of cheese, but I don’t think it was gruyère, it tasted like a mussarela. The bowl was completely full, but not in a good way, there was cheese all over the place, and the soup itself, was almost tasteless. There were no toasts, in the end I could find a soaked piece of bread. They gave me two spoons (I guess they thought I would share a soup?) but, incredibly, no napkins, I had to almost beg for one. And the soufflé?! What to say about that? No taste of goat cheese, which is unbelievable. Sometimes I could taste the thyme, but the thick parmesan crust (why?) made everything absolutely tasteless. And the waiters were rude, they simply couldn’t care if we needed anything. I drank a sparkling water while waiting for a table; during my whole dinner, no one bothered to ask me if I wanted to drink something else despite my empty glass. I couldn’t even ask for another bottle, because it was incredibly hard to get the waiters’ attention. And everything took ages to arrive. After all that, I wouldn’t come back there again....

Service 5/10, rapport/ Qualite 4/10,...
