Truly unbelievable horrible service as well was our two cappuccinos we ordered. They say in there menu use special coffee as well as the machines they use are first rate and artesian. It's nice to see that there business had grown tremendously in size since, I had last visited. This use to be in my personal opinion one of the best coffee houses if not the best when it was smaller and the service and coffee was impeccable quality! Honestly what happened 😕? It was a special place to sit on the outside patio, read books and magazines all along having your coffee an awesome sandwich of the day and meeting new people. I had invited a guess to go with me and I couldn't say enough of great things about Lucca's cafe .. how embarrassing it was when he tasted the cappuccino that we both ordered 😳, he almost spit his out of his mouth, he didn't finish his cappuccino least to say. I however have a strong taste for great as well as horrible coffee, so I did finish mine, but it wasn't no where the taste and quality that I knew Lucca Cafe was in the past. I am extremely horrified by this encounter at Lucca's cafe and it wasn't even remotely possible this would even happen? Extremely beyond sad and extremely disappointed 😞! Now, I will speak of the service staff. When you spend R$71,40 for 2 cappuccinos and one water with gas only, you would diffently think the waiting staff would be second to none. Horrible service, had to ask for sugar with our cappuccinos, why wasn't it brought to the table when the cappuccinos aren't presweetened, better yet why not already on the tables 🤔? Normally a cappuccino comes with a small sweet biscuit, cookie of some type or a piece of chocolate? (Suggestion only). We both also felt we were being looked at in a terrible light, Lucca's Cafe has always been known in Curitiba as a very Liberal/LGBTQ Community and safe place to go and be yourself with like-minded people who's minds are open. Unfortunately on that day we did not feel or find Lucca Cafe this way and we both wanted to leave quickly. Perhaps this was the reason 🤔, for our horrible coffees ☕ and service? If I could give Lucca Cafe a "ZERO", I would! Highly recommend that the LIBERAL/LGBTQ communities boycott by staying away, unless Lucca Cafe change the way they are treating their LIBERAL/LGBTQ Comunnity change back to when you guys was awesome! The work flow needs to be improved. My order did not come all together. By the time the toast came, I already finished my coffee. The delivery was unorganized not based on the need of the guest.

Then the waiter bring stuff that I did not order and asked if I wanted them. Considering that I already ordered a breakfast, a croissant, why would you bring more stuff to me? What you need to do is to deliver the breakfast in an orderly manner so the guest can enjoy their coffee and bread together. You need to watch out the waiter trying to sell you more stuff that you don't want.

This place USED to be my favorite coffee house in the city. Incredible sourdough and macarons. I’ve come here twice a month since I moved to the city. I have ALWAYS have ordered a Flat White. Every.Single.Time. Today I arrive to have my usual Flat white and macaron. Literally no one had any idea what I was talking about today. I don’t know if it’s new staff or a barista with poor training, but I’ll be skipping coffee at Lucca now.
