Very slow service. My wife ordered stroganoff, which was good, and given to her promptly. However, I ordered grilled chicken and my plate came out more than 20 minutes after hers. She was long finished before I even got my food. My plate took so long that a different server came by and thought we both had finished eating and were done, and ready for the bill. After it finally arrived and I finished eating we requested the bill, which also took a too long to arrive. I paid in Reais and I don't think they even had the change to give me. I saw the waiter go to two other tables and serve them while I was waiting for him to bring me back my change. I also saw (possibly the manager) leave the store with cash in his hand and go to the stall right outside the restaurant, and presumably ask for change. When they finally did come back with it they were short, only about 1 Reais, but at that point I was just ready to leave and it wasn't worth the fight/time. Aside from that, the food was pretty good, but definitely won't...

After 3 days in Rio, we would want to try some local foods for a change and so walked into this friendly restaurant which looks like servicing some local breakfasts. First of all, the staffs were really friendly and helpful, who immediately offered us their English menu which was quite rare in this part of the world. We have the avocado toasts each with nuts and fried egg, the tapioca wrap with egg that look-liked local dish, some simple toast breads, and our usual double espresso. The avocado toasts were not bad especially the sourdough breads but the one with the pine nuts was too sourly. Though the chef has added in too much lime. The toast breads were usual. The tapioca wrap was something unusual but nice. Wrap was chewy although overall it was quite bland. The coffee was quite the...

I have dined at this establishment a variety of times. The first time I had a little hiccup with them because I had asked for a side salad with my crispy chicken sandwich and instead of placing it on the side, they put it in my sandwich. I brought it up to the waitress and she brought out a side salad, but it was only lettuce and two tomato slices. After that she gave me attitude for the rest of the stay. I have also gone another time and gave ordered the omelette which I recommend! I also ordered the acai which is A1, although they do serve the larger portions in a cup so if you want a bowl I would ask when ordering. Lastly I got a burger and it was filling. Service was also fast for that order.

This may have been my favorite restaurant in Rio, which is funny because it's not fancy, but the food is good and I really liked the menu of salads, juices, burgers, desserts, and sandwiches. It's clean and has nice seating and I like the table service. Staff was friendly and quick. We ate there 3 times and I recommend the abacaxi com hortela (pineapple with mint) and the quiejo minas quente (grilled cheese). We also had chocolate crepes and the burgers, which could possibly be the best burgers I've ever had. The buns were perfect, cheese everywhere, grilled to perfection, and served with a bacon cream cheese spread that was amazing.
