Great location in Copacabana beach, you can walk to the beach in 5 minutes. Breakfast is delicious and worth paying extra for. It'll fill you up until lunchtime. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Amazing people working at this hotel. |The room condition was not good, though. Pillows were filthy and I mean really gross with stains ranging from make up to blood. Sheets smelled stale. Make sure you pack an extra t-shirt to cover the pillow so you can sleep on it. I tried to contact the front desk but it was impossible. The reception don't have a phone and they only answer requests by WhatsApp (+554599214327). My group was trying to reach them for days but couldn't find the correct number, so, there you go. I could've gone downstairs to the reception, but I was too tired to do so after a full day of sightseeing. Didn't bother to try again later. Towels were horrible too. |Bathroom wasn't so bad and they provide soap bars and 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner bottles. No hair dryer provided in the room. |I also think they have tenants living in the building, and they were nice people.|I doubt I'd stay here again. You get what you paid for. Pay for the breakfast, though,...
Read moreIt’s hard to write a review for this hotel as their Wi-Fi never works.
The staff is great and very friendly. All of them are genuinely kind and helpful. Two stars only for them.
I am sorry for leaving this review but I have to protect future tourists.
I stayed at 702 the mattress needs to be urgently changed as it’s very old and makes noise everytime you turn.
The ac is also clearly from another century as it’s extremely noisy and inefficient. The room is completely white with no furniture like an asylum.
There is wifi access only in certain parts of the room so basically I am writing this upside down in the bed cause if I sit properly there is no signal.
The Wi-Fi extenders cost like 10 usd. Make the investment..
The even gave us small towels for the body instead of the regular ones. The elevator is worth visiting for as it’s clearly of historic value just don’t expect to arrive in your room anytime soon.
Lastly the breakfast starts at 8 which is later than most city tours are scheduled to start so if you have a planned tour there will be no breakfast for you which I think it’s planned as it’s the first time I see a hotel breakfast...
Read moreNice hotel for price, location, and cleanliness. This hotel is one block from the Copacabana beach. I would recommend this hotel to single travelers, couples and groups of three to four people. I give them high ratings for price, cleanliness, free breakfast, the large room with refrigerator, flat screen tv, the bed was comfortable and many of their staff members spoke English and was overall helpful.
The cons was the ability to hear people from the hallway room, view from the room is not nice, and no parking. The breakfast was basic: cereal, sausage, eggs, fruits, bread, coffee and milk, since it is included in the price ($45 USD), I really can’t complain. The pros completely outweigh the cons. So I would recommend this hotel if your looking for an affordable place to stay in the Copacabana area with a...
