Marco was a friendly, lively, excellent instructor who gave our group a one hour introductory lesson in tango, which was a lot of fun. Then he laid on a transfer to the Scenarium Nightclub in Lapa, where we ate, drank and danced to a live band. Marco stayed with us at the club and continued his instruction on the dance floor. The club is over three floors and beautifully decked out with an old world colonial feel. It’s friendly for people of all ages. A warm inviting place. There are plenty of cabs waiting outside. I took private lessons at Rio Samba Dancer. Helio is a great teacher. He's funny and friendly. It's easy to relax, and learn in that vibe. He invited me to a feijoada one Saturday afternoon.
