I invited 2 friends to check out this place with me, after 8 years living abroad. I was disappointed with the unpleasant experience due to a very unprofessional attitude from the employees and management as well. Not mentioning that the place is very disorganized when it comes to table service, even the system to pay the bill is very poor. We were told that we could go anywhere inside and outside the club and that inside would have a jazz band free of charge. Nobody explained that to go upstairs was required the purchase of a ticket for a show. There was no one hosting the entrance downstairs, so we went upstairs when servers/security started to scream at us telling we couldn’t go up. It was literally 3 people up there. We went downstairs everyone looking at us and yet nobody explained that we had to purchase tickets for the show . A lady with a “bombeiro civil” t-shirt kept staring at us the whole time when we are going downstairs and continued to talk to the employees and look at us . We called the manager to state our unpleasant situation, however the manager wasn’t very help either still not explained about the show or tell you how much the ticket cost. Only thing he offered was to show the place upstairs to us 1 more time but they would like us to stayed but my friend refused, they want to leave the establishment due the mistreatment. I stated that we weren’t ask for anything free we just wanted that management be aware of the lack of organization and respect in a place like this. The manager answer that me shocked “I am Not trying to give anyone anything for free, I don’t offer any free stuff here, I just would like you all stay” ! If was any chance of we staying it would be ruined. Bottom line is service horrible, poor management and it’s a shame for such a beautiful club that seems to attract...

I assisted this past 22nd of September to what seems to have been their very first Sunday “Bossa & Brunch” buffet and I must say I was very disappointed.

The brunch started at 11:am and by 11:30 of course there were no seats available inside, with some of them being empty and with a reserved sign (wasn’t aware there was the ability to reserve spaces, as this was never advertised anywhere).

The food options were very poor, compared to other buffets (of which there are plenty in Rio in the Copacabana and Ipanema areas). The waitress, while very kind, almost never attended us. Coffee and water were included as part of the buffet but the coffee was VERY bad, it almost felt burnt, and took forever to get it delivered.

It seems this was their first time doing a buffet as I could see the lady in charge of bringing the clean plates struggling with this task.

But the very reason why I decided to attend this brunch was because of their advertised live bossa. But what I found was far from this. It was just two musicians, one with a piano. And the music felt as generic as anything you could hear on any restaurant that plays live music for breakfast. Like those light jazz covers from pop songs that you can hear at the supermarket. I was expecting at the bare minimum an acoustic guitar. If I really wanted to this experience I could have gone to any other restaurant. But this is the Blue Note we’re talking about, so there was some expectations and quality level to be met, which of course were not.

And with the price tag being 90 BRL per person, I must say you’re better off going anywhere else than here for this “live bossa & brunch” experience. You’ll get far better food and music.

So if you have the opportunity to go for this brunch experience, I say let it go to waste. Go...

Réveillon de 24/25 foi agradável salvo alguns emprevisto desagradáveis. Não por total culpa da casa, mas também pela falta de respeito e educação de algumas pessoas moradores vizinhos que também estavam lá. Bem na internet estava escrito que seria aberto as 17h. e ao chegar ficamos sabendo que só abriria as 20h. Bem como já se formará uma pequena fila para entrar foi concedido as pessoas sentassem na área externa até que pudéssemos entrar. Tendo em vista não haver mesas e nem lugares reservados já imaginam como foi a entrada né. Uma jovem senhora tentou organizar por ordem de chegada, mas enquanto ela fala de um lado outros entram de outro, enfim ao chegar na mesa permaneci em pé para que minha esposa(PCD) e filha me vissem e uma senhora que chegou bem depois com um outro grupo sentou-se e simplesmente disse que não iria sair por ter sentado primeiro. Rsssss seria engraçado se não fosse uma falta de educação e desrespeito. Bem mas não fui ali para me aborrecer nem me rebaixar aos que pensam ser melhores por ter mais idade e ou morar em "COPA", Mal educado e sem caráter existem em qualquer lugar. As refeições não faltaram e seguiram uma lógica, entretanto talvez por inexperiência ficou um tanto tumultuado com filas e meio bagunçado mesmo com a boa vontade e correria dos funcionários em querer fazer o melhor. Uma outra coisa foi com relação ao 2° andar existiam alguns poucos camarotes que disseram que não poderiam ser usados e que na verdade estavam reservados à alguns; mesmo não tendo diferença de preço nos convites e menos ainda lugares reservados. Isto ficou claro com a ocupação destes lugares por clientes direcionados a eles. Os alimentos foi do tipo self-service e todos que estavam na no 2°andar tinha que descer para se servirem, porém a escada ficava ao lado da mesa e onde se formará fila para fazer o prato ajudando a piorar a situação. Bebidas os garçons levavam a mesa porém muitos preferiram ir até ao bar para pegar. Deixo como sugestão no intuito de minimizar transtornos que os convites sejam vendidos com lugares reservados evitando assim que ao levantar-se para ir se servir ao voltar existam outras pessoas em seu lugar e tenha que ficar com prato procurando onde sentar-se; além dos "educados de Copa" entrando correndo, de forma sorrateira e na frente dos que chegaram primeiro para escolherem onde quer sentar. Uma outra sugestão seria para ajudar evitar os desperdício como aconteceu com as entradas e salgados. Os garçons poderiam servir nas mesas com pratinhos montados ou outra forma qualquer, pois devido a fila todo enchiam os pratos não por medo de acabar ou ganância, mas sim para não ter que encarar fila novamente caso desejassem mais alguma coisa. No mais alimentos saboros e sem miséria. Bebida também foi bem servida, bem, ressalva aqui, eu não bebo e com isto tinha sempre que solicitar. O show estava muito bom. Voltaria desde que a exemplo de outros lugares mesas e lugares marcados. Pois é chato toda vez que alguém levanta e vai a algum outro lugar, aparece alguém para pedir para tirar a cadeira ou a mesa é levar para outro...
