Cacimba Bar — Restaurant in Região Geográfica Imediata do Rio de Janeiro

This is one of my son's favorite restaurants when he visits Rio. We order frango grelhado with rice, beans, fries, and farofa. Cost R$34.

The taste varies depending on who is in the kitchen on the grill. One day my fries were recooked and the chicken bland. The next day, fries were fresh, chicken seasoned to perfection, and everything delicious.

The staff and service here was excellent. We kept coming back here most nights. The food was faultless too! The staff couldn't speak English but we're incredibly patient with us, even when trying to give us a free beer at the end of the night.

There was never a moment when the staff would let you feel unsafe or alone - we would always see them walking around the tables making sure...

Relatando aqui o ocorrido com Caio Barbosa. Repudio TOTAL a esse lugar!! Pulem fora dai galera!! "Acabo de sofrer uma tentativa de assalto na Lapa. Um malandro tentou pegar meu celular na mão grande, na calçada do bar Cacimba e eu consegui recuperar. Um comparsa quebrou uma garrafa de cerveja para me furar e eu entrei no Cacimba Bar para me defender. E o funcionário do bar exigiu que eu SAÍSSE para levar a garrafada na calçada.

Obviamente que não saí, obviamente que mais tarde procurarei o dono do bar ou gerente para contar a história, e mais obviamente nunca mais gastarei um real ali. Espero que façam o mesmo.

No mais tá tudo bem e segue o baile.

ATUALIZANDO: acabo de voltar ao bar, falei com os que se apresentaram como proprietários, que fizeram pouco ou nenhum caso, dizendo que "é isso mesmo" e eu que me vire, enquanto o funcionário ria.

Lembro que há uns dois anos, uma amiga Rosayne Macedo viveu a mesma situação, mas conseguimos achar o ladrão, os pertences da Rosayne, e o celular já havia sido repassado para quem? O funcionário de um dos bares, com a compadrio de um policial.
