We ordered a few vegetarian meals, including dumplings with cheese, as listed on the English menu. However, the waiter either mistakenly brought us meatballs instead or their English menu is terribly translated - when you point at dumplings with cheese they bring meatballs. When we asked for a replacement, he brought the correct dish quickly—but still included the meatballs on our bill. To make matters worse, one of the waiters ate the meatballs right in front of us, behind the counter.
While we appreciate that the food we didn’t order didn’t go to waste, it’s unacceptable for the restaurant to feed staff at the customer’s expense—especially when they already charge triple the standard price for beer. This raises serious questions about the management of this establishment.
The staff didn’t speak any English, which is surprising in one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world. The prices were unreasonably high for the quality of food, and considering IT Ristorante is one of the few dining options in Shopping Leblon, the overall experience was quite disappointing.
The administration should focus on customer satisfaction rather than short-term profits. Restaurants like IT Ristorante give tourists second thoughts about visiting Rio again, which is unfortunate—because the city itself...

Quando chegou a conta eu notei que o valor do prato estava bem diferente e o garçom que disse ao questionarmos o valor - “ o gerente disse que apontou para o senhor que seria o outro prato” meu marido me disse que não foi assim, disse que ficou claro que o bife só não seria empanado e como ele é do tipo que prefere evitar esmiuçar disse ou não disse, por fim ficou nisso, saí insatisfeita e não tenho vontade de voltar ! Acho que nesses momentos é preciso muito cuidado ao ser claro e fazer questão de esclarecer ao cliente quando as coisas inesperadas...
