Restaurante Outback Steakhouse — Restaurant in Região Geográfica Imediata do Rio de Janeiro

It was one of the most popular Google Recommended restaurants that was open till late near our Hotel where the exhibition was taking and hence we ended up going there twice during our 5 days in Sao Paulo (though, now we know that there are far better options within a short walk). However, the food was not disappointing.

The chicken wings were crunchy and very nice to start with, but the steak Quesadilla were super nice..cheesey, rich in flavor and very filling. My wife tried the Diana Steak and I tried their Rib Eye, both were big portions and we'll cooked. Little industrial and fast paced but tasted nice (with a grumbling belly of late night dinner). The drink (unfortunately I forgot to take a photo, was mix of strawberries and soda, was super nice and highly recommended.) The portions are big, service is nice and prompt and overall a good experience (but I had better steaks). If you are in a group of 4 or more, and late night after shopping at the Centre Norte mall, this could be an ideal food joint to...

We ate at the Outback in Rio this evening and were disappointed beyond belief. We ordered the bloming onion a favorite of ours, it came to the table with very little sauce, but tasted fine. My wife ordered a medium rare filemingon and I ordered the ribs. The steak was perfect however their baked potato skills need some improvement. My ribs were on the wet side with a side of dry shrimp, semi cold fries and not a single napkin in sight. Our beer was empty by the time the main meal came to the table, not once were we offered more drinks, or much needed napkins. We litterlarlly cleared our own table and stacked the dishes without being offered more drinks, dessert and you guessed it napkins. Finally we had to get out of our seats and ask another server for our bill. One of the worst Outback...

Segunda vez que tenho um problema com esta unidade do Outback, infelizmente. Dessa vez, dia 17/3, já na chegada, a funcionária que estava na recepção não deu muita atenção, e tivemos, nós mesmos que ficar de olho se saia alguém da parte interna, pois não queríamos ficar do lado de fora. Quando fui falar com outra funcionária, a falta de atenção foi parecida. Ao sentarmos, tivemos que acenar mais de uma vez para que alguém nos atendesse. O restaurante não estava lotado, então não justifica. Pedimos primeiro o que minha filha queria, para agilizar, e quando fomos pedir nosso prato e as bebidas, fomos informados que não havia refrigerante na casa, e nos ofereceram mate no lugar. Não era tarde, chegamos antes de 19h. Em nenhum momento fomos informados que a falta de refrigerante era temporária ou que estavam tentando resolver um problema pontual com o equipamento. Terminamos desistindo do rodízio e do outro prato, e resolvemos aguardar nossa filha comer o que já havia sido pedido, para depois irmos no Gula,Gula, que fica em frente. Passado algum tempo vieram falar que o problema com o refrigerante foi resolvido, mas nessa altura já tínhamos desistido dos pratos e optado pelo Gula gula. Por que não falam da falta de refrigerante assim que chegamos ou sentamos? Quando chegamos nem falo, porque com a falta de atenção na recepção não dava para esperar esse tipo de atitude, mas a funcionária que atendeu nossa mesa deveria ter avisado logo que sentamos. Não sei se é falta de sorte minha nessa unidade, ou se realmente há um problema ali. Gosto da comida, mas já não sei se vale pena voltar. Da outra vez não tinha água mineral e o prato não estava bom, agora ofereciam um rodízio com a opção de incluir o refrigerante, mas não tinha o refrigerante, e só soubemos depois de...
