The food was as close to genuine French cooking as you’ll get in São Paulo - tasty and lovingly prepared! The wine selection was decent and the desserts really good quality. But what makes this place so. Special is the atmosphere! So many cute film posters, book covers, movie adverts and curiosities from France! Just lovely! Bathrooms are located upstairs where there are more tables and the vibe is just as cute! Bathrooms were clean with 2 toilets and good soap and paper towels ( I mention this because some of the bathrooms in São Paulo restaurants can easily turn me off to the place. These bathrooms, though they could use some structural care and updating, were clearly well maintained and customer ready!) The waitstaff were excellent and we did not feel rushed at all. In fact super friendly and helped us make some selections. The prices were reasonable- we were 6 people and split the bill evenly because we all ordered similarly; R125 each for shared appetizer, 1 meals each, desserts and wine, some sodas ordered at the table and water too. I don’t speak Portuguese and couldn’t understand the French menu, so I turned to Google for help. After checking some photos, I decided to try the Magret de Canard Com Molho Balsâmico, which looked delicious. The verdict? Absolutely amazing! The meat was tender, and the sauce poured over it was truly exceptional.
The interior design and decor transported me to another world, blending French romanticism with vibrant Brazilian colors. I highly...
Read moreI came across this beautiful place while riding my uber. From the outside I saw this cute little place and I had to stop the uber and go to check it out! In the entrence, I was well received by this young charming lady. It was 2 PM on Friday, right after the noon rush, and I was the only one! I received such a good service from everyone that I had to return! Brazil is a place of beer but here I could find wine from Argentina and have a taste of France! Love the little Chèvre Choud toasts with honey and the Beef bourguignon was really tasty! Mostly I enjoyed the wine and the atmosphere and the really nice service! If you ever in SP I recommend! Thank...
