Very nice early dinner here. The service is very kind and well done. Only thing I did not like is having to use an iPad to review the menu (just me, it’s not classy, and this is a sort of classy place). Bizarrely, one of the menu items translates to English as “codfish handjob” (see photo, I’m not kidding), did not really want that so I’ll always wonder what that is all about, maybe a poor joke? 😂 Most importantly, the food was very nice, loved the codfish cakes, almost as good as the ones my Father made (which will never be surpassed). My wife loved her grilled mackerel (or large smelts), I liked that too. They are generous with the sides of lettuce, potatoes, etc. Very attractive furniture and decor. The food that we ordered were not cooked properly, it was a deep fried fish. And all pieces were not well cooked. They changed for another pieces, and served again this dish. The waitress was nice and friendly, she took care of the dish. But she isn’t trained well, because when she served our table she literally threw the fork, knife and spoon…without even apologising and fixing this. Now I’m feeling sick after eating there. Unfortunately, the only one good thing there is...

It was presented with a large plate of rice and yellow potatoes. Cooked nicely, not over or under done. They have a house label for the table wines and it's quite good. I had the Merlot. It's a serviceable accompaniment for lunch (better than Coca Cola :)). Overall, it was a relaxing and pleasant way to spend an afternoon in Sao Paulo. Did I mebtion they played Fado music, which rounded out the experience...
