The reviews of the Hilton Morumbi are misleading. I am a Diamond Hilton Honors member and try to be loyal to the brand. While the location is wonderful and many of the rooms are generally nice, staying at the hotel is a nightmare. I spent over 30 days on and off from September 2021 through January 2022. The elevators are a total mess, and you often can't get to your floor. They are constantly working on them with limited success. All too often you have to switch elevators to find one that will accept your room key/floor. Over a half a dozen times we had to be escorted by the staff because they couldn't fix the issue. Usually, the front desk denies there is an issue as apparently being honest is frowned upon. We even had to help a Navy veteran wearing a brace up the stars from the 26th to the 27th floor because he couldn't get to his floor after several attempts. Most days we would go to 26 and walk up the fire stairs to 27. Numerous times we used the staff elevator out of frustration to get to our floor because we couldn't get to any floor other than 28. We stayed in the Presidential Suite for a couple of weeks (all types of power issues) and blinds that didn't work and the a couple different one bedroom suites. The views are great, however, in virtually every room we experienced either mechanical, lighting or power issues. In one room, we kept loosing power and had to reset the breakers - maintenance would blame it on the jet tub (which we never used). After a couple of days I discovered a leak in the master closet causing a short. The room service food was some of the worst we in Hilton history. Front desk is always welcoming. Greeted with smile, explained me the options for my room, I chose the one I wanted. The benefits of being a hilton honors member were explained. Loved the walkthru. The room is awesome, brand new interior and comfortable beds.
Loved the restaurant and bar, me and my colleague were having dinner and we were offered complimentary cocktail. Menu was altered to meet my special requirements. Chef ensured I liked the custom entrée and took feedback. Exceptional hospitality. I would like to thank Ms. Diana Batista for being so kind and professional.
I am a business traveller and travel a lot around the world. Being away from home frequently and for so many days, you sometimes like the place that welcomes you with warmth and care for your well-being. This visit of mine, I was personally invited to lounge by the General Manager of the hotel. It was a great welcome and had superb experience meeting Mr. David Ecija, Mr, Ricardo Pimpao and Ms. Fernanda Lemos.
All these together have definitely added to the excellent experience in every segment staying at the hotel.

Read moreI had a great experience at the Hilton Sao Paulo Morumbi. First, the staff was very helpful in assisting my planning for this trip. I was in Sao Paulo to attend the Chargers-Chiefs NFL game. Alexandre Jesus from the reservations department helped me understand the logistics and geography of my stay. Concierge Marcia Yoshida did a great job of helping me arrange tours and otherwise getting situated to the area near the hotel. She picked up the ball after a previous concierge left the hotel before I made my tour arrangements. The executive lounge staff was outstanding. In particular, Nathalia made my stay very comfortable and enjoyable. I also had a great interaction with the guest services assistant manager, Gustavo Almeida. He was able to answer my questions and made some good suggestions as well. On a side note, I booked the hotel because I am a Diamond member and knew that I would be treated well. The rooms were well appointed and clean. As an added bonus, personnel from NFL Films and the NFL were also staying at the hotel as well as the game officials.
