I am a American tourist and I dont speak Portuguese very well (...if at all). But I was still able to get what I wanted without much issue by pointing at the items on the menu. The staff was very helpful and friendly here.

I recommend getting the hiyashi chuka noodles, which is a japanese noodle salad. It comes with a vinegarette sauce. I also got gyoza and maki rolls. It was an awesome combination that tasted great. The bill came out to 60 reais which is about US$18. The meal was worth the price.

No andar debaixo fica o restaurante que serve pratos quentes e também sushis. O atendimento é rápido e pouco comprometido, o ambiente tem um clima aconchegante e você tem a impressão de estar na casa de uma bachan.

De entrada pedimos meia dúzia de guiozas seguindo algumas avaliações, não agradou tanto, eles são um pouco diferente dos tradicionais, achatados e a carne de porco tem uma textura de carne moída, estavam um pouco cozidos demais e grudados uns nos outros.

Já de principal fomos de Yakisoba, que aliás faz parte da parceria com o aplicativo TurSP que oferece 50% de desconto para assinantes. O Yakisoba é bem servido e um pouco diferente do tradicional, é mais sequinho e servido com gengibre ao canto e nori por cima. Achamos que faltou um pouco de tempero e havia um excesso de carne/legumes para a quantidade de massa, mas estava gostoso.

No geral acho que é um lugar para se conhecer, seria ainda mais legal se as salinhas voltassem a funcionar. Não acho que valha esperar nas longas filas aos finais de semana porque existem outras opções legais na região, mas durante a semana é...

Absolutely delicious and authentic Japanese food, similar to what we've had in Japan.

The kare katsu was fantastic. The katsu was crispy and moist, while the curry itself packed a lot of flavour using carrots and beef.

We also had the sashimi/tempura set. The salmon was fresh.

The tempura was the star of the show! Batter was so light and ultra crispy, just like how great tempura should be.
