See .... …. My first visual impression of The Scene and more precisely of the view of the terrace was great and I could already imagine what nice pictures I would take of their cocktails and food against the backdrop of sunset over Vitosha. However, the staff informed me that they could not find two places in the large sector with the best view, to the cathedral "St. Alexander Nevsky ”, because they had reservations, and the time was only 17:30, on a business day. All my expectations and hopes for wonderful photo shots and a perfect review from the first visit evaporated; …. The food plating is flawless, as is the presentation of the cocktails. …. The menus design is very interesting, especially the cocktails’ one. In addition to writing what the ingredients are, the glasses and the method of preparation are described. The mixology offers were remarkable and enticing. One of them represents the Bulgarian oil rose. The drink is called Rose Valley, based on gin, containing rose liqueur and yogurt, topped finely with pink flowers and petals. Very beautiful thing! See it in the video below. …. Nice looking, stylish interior and exterior...; …. Apparently the terrace is the party part, I even noticed a round booth, in the middle of which there was something like an open hearth with coals;.
Feel …. …. The staff are polite but still a little confused. Why I think so-read the full review on placescases.com
Hear …. …. Party club music – very nice. Read the full review and see a short movie on the review and rating blog placescases.com
Smell .... …. The aromas in the cocktails are great - rose in Rose Valley, Pineapple in Marbella in the Summer, oriental spices in Souk Daiquiri, which is served with a bubble on top, just like Ozone cocktail in same name bar, mentioned above. See what its making technology is in the movie here.
Taste .... …. The meals are finger food and tapa types. Small portions, rather with the idea of accompanying the drinks, not so much to dine abundantly; …. A very nice and different detail is the compliment they bring you immediately after ordering - popcorn sprinkled with Moroccan spice. …. In general, there are various things in cooking that need to be adjusted. The skewers had a nice aroma from the various marinades, but were absolutely salt-free. The Arabic breads on which they lay were not warmed or toasted, but taken out of the package. The bigger problem was that under one of them I found a piece of that same package.... How the staff reacted, read in the post on placescases.com …. The best thing was the "Sweet Sin" dessert mentioned above, which is a combination of all the desserts on the menu. You can see it in the movie. …. The cocktails are also worth it - in addition to having a great look, they are also very tasty.

Read more30/08 And as we were still at the hotel, thought we would give it one last chance as it was a weekday and had a long day of work. No surprises but the service was terrible again, really slow. Plus we got sat in the pitch black LOL. What appalling service for hotel guests. Anyway, we walked out before we waited an hour to get served drinks and food again.
Don’t go, honestly it is poor.
27/08 Came here again as the bar is in the hotel we are staying in.
The service was even slower. We were here 30 mins before being served. Here 1 hour and still no drinks have even arrived. It’s shockingly bad. If you can avoid do so. Sense bar which is a short walk was much better.
Food came out luke warm. Drinks didn’t come at all. Food came without napkins. Didn’t bring even when we asked. They didn’t write the order down and surprise surprise forgot some of the food.
Shocking shocking place. Hyatt sort out your bars and restaurants. Seriously!!
26/08 The music inside was too loud. Sense Bar is much better. Service is very slow. Though he was pleasant. Place is empty on a Saturday night but seems to be one waiter so very slow. But, after eating in the restaurant at the Hyatt, wouldn’t expect any more than poor service in their roof top bar. Rooms and location are probably the only decent thing...
Read moreStaying at the Hyatt, which is a beautiful hotel. Really love my experience here. The service at the hotel itself has been outstanding. One of the reasons I picked this hotel however was for the rooftop bar advertised. Unfortunately the rooftop falls short…. Originally got seated in what I can only explain to be a highway for traffic. I asked to be moved and then was seated in the back which usually wouldn’t be a problem however once the sun sets there was pure darkness and was unable to see what I was eating or anything in front of me.The food is average. I ordered tuna which looked beautiful however was completely over salted and I was unable to taste the beautiful fish hiding underneath. Next was the shrimp tacos which were simply just okey. The dessert however recommended by the waitress was definitely the saving grace. It was full of surprises and I quite enjoyed that. The service was the best part of the experience however you could tell the staff were overwhelmed and clearly they need more help. I noticed that the hostess doesn’t seem to do much to help her colleagues and I would think that at least she could bring lights out to the people in the dark at the back. Anyway not the greatest of rooftop bars but don’t think it’s over priced either. So I guess you get what you pay...
