Urban Legends — Restaurant in Sofia City

went on vacation to sofia with some friends and we found this place to eat, at first everything seemed fine, and seemed like a fine dining experience. To our surprise what we received was everything but a good experience and good food. To start with the prices seemed too high to start with but as we expected good food we decided to follow through, at first came out the lamb skewers which looked good but as learned the presentation does not stand for good quality of food, to put it simply the food tasted as if it was taken out of the fridge after being left in it for a day or two, the meat was cold, bland, tough, and utterly waste of money and time, to their credit the food did come out fast and we didnt have to wait for too long but i would rather wait an hour to get food from McDonalds rather wait 10 mins to get served here. Then as we were deciding on the mains, we ordered wine which we took recommendation from the waiter, we did get a more budget friendly bottle as we understood that we were going to be paying an outrageous amount for the mains which by this time we understood that it was gonna be another rip off but we gave them the benefit of doubt as the vibes were not bad. We ordered the Caesar salad and the legendary burger. The burger was mediocre at best and i have had better at Mcdonalds which was prepared by quindale dingle. the best part about it was the side of fries which if they messed that up I would've lost hope in this country as my crazy ex who eats soup with a fork would've done better. The Caesar salad was not bad as well, the chicken was good and well prepared to be fair, but when I took a bite I was nothing but disappointed. They put more effort into the presentation of the food rather the quality for the price you are going to pay for it, the salad was presented on a very over the top unnecessary art, that looked like an ancient mammoth poop that was preserved for centuries and polished to look presentable.

Over all I would not recommend this place at all, spend your money somewhere else and you will feel better after you are done with your stay.

I am very sad and disappointed of this place but more so my wallet was SA'd unfairly which is not something we should be letting happen in 2024.

A Big Disappointment!

I visited this place last year, and everything was fine. Unfortunately, yesterday's visit was disappointing on many levels.

Since we were a larger group (around 20 people), we wanted to pre-order some dishes and requested sample menus in advance. However, they told us we would order on-site from the main menu. That was fine, and we all came prepared. Yet, when we arrived, they informed us they had prepared some plateaus for us instead. This was not what we agreed upon, and the food they selected was not to everyone's liking. Many of us were unsatisfied.

The meat they served was already cold and stiff—not delicious at all, especially for the price they charge.

One of the staff members who served us was not very polite.

One of the desserts took over 30 minutes to be prepared after it was ordered.

In summary: The food was not delicious, the dishes were chosen by them instead of us (breaking our agreement), and at least one staff member did not behave as expected. For what is offered, the price is far too high.

It seems that only the legends are left about the Urban...

Did not like the experience at all. The food turned out to be good, not the best but it was quite good. Although the prices are high for what they offer in culinary terms, the problem was not the food or the price but the waiter. He was super arrogant and rude for the entire dinner. We were four people, one of us asked if there were any vegetarian options and he disrespectfully answered that “no of course” as this is a place for steaks. Well the menu actually had a variety of vegetarian meals like vegetables balls, rice, salads etc. I guess he was not interested at all in us staying or even bothered to make an effort to check the menu where he works. After each of our requests or questions, we got a harsh, annoyed answer. When we asked for the dessert menu, we were thrown the menu on the table as if we were some animals.
