One of the older Japanese restaurants that survived the pandemic. Came here for a late lunch. Japanese food with more bold spices. Good value for the portion & quality you get. The sweet and sour chicken is my favorite. Crispy coat, tender meat, and the sauce gives a fresh tangy kick to the dish. The curry udon also pleasant. I would prefer chewier udon but it's still enjoyable. The curry has a stronger taste than other places I've tried in Phnom Penh, I quite like it. Quick service. Has AC seating area. Clean & simple interior, nothing pretentious. The place was quiet during my visit. They're also available on the local delivery app. I hope this place will receive more support from residents...

—-What’s bad—- Staff doesn’t speak much English.
Portion of the miso tofu udon soup is small, serving at 1/3 of the bowl. I can tell the udon has been pre-cooked and sitting there all day. Soggy.
The age Gyoza staff recommended is not to my expectations, the stuffing does not seem to be fresh( I also don’t know why he recommended age gyoza over their best seller yaki gyoza but I decided to give it a try)
The chicken katsu toji was salty and don’t think chicken is that fresh either.
Price is ok, it’s not a low budget place if u don’t order the set.
Overall a...
