I went here with my wife last night. this is by far amongst the best Indian restaurant in PP. I would have given this a 5 star but for some details that need improvement. the place itself used to be an Indian/nepali/pakistani restaurant but they have done well in renovating the restaurant giving it a modern ambience. we ordered mutton madras, chicken tikka masala, a vegetable dish as well as kashmiri pulao rice with plain nan. as a starter we wanted to try the vegetarian samosa. but to my dismay it took them sometime to get the starter ready they ended up serving our main dishes first. I politely told them to cancel the samosas. the dishes overall are superbly delicious with full of flavours. the mutton and the vegetable dishes are just exquisite. the chicken tikka masala is somehow not im used to as traditionally the chicken would normally be marinated with yogurt and spices into tandoori chicken before they are mixed with the masala sauce. though I was annoyed with the samosas not ready, the restaurant kindly offered me to try them nevertheless free of charge. now that's what I call real customer friendly. I will give this restaurant a thumbs up and definitely will...
Read more3 adults and 4 children from 4-14 years old. We would recommend. The menu offers lots of choice, including western and Asian options. A lovely view and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Rupen was our host, he is very smiley, helpful, welcoming. We had a small language barrier, we worked together to understand each other. The dishes came out at different times, but was worth the wait considering the variety of dishes we ordered, and this worked for our party anyway. The portions were good sizes and the staff packaged our left overs for us to take away, without hesitation. Although, our children didn't like the fruit shakes they ordered, they were happy with their food. We asked for white wine but initially received red, they were quick to resolve this and we think they went out of their way to get some white wine for us. The sky bar restaurant offered a spectacular view of the nights lightening and thunder storm, which enhanced our visit and...
Read moreThe sandwiches were surprisingly spicy, and the salad had a lot lot of mayonnaise. I didn't like it. Maybe the menu should indicate in advance whether it's spicy or not, or write the ingredients of the dish (this would be especially useful for those who aren't familiar with Indian cuisine). And just put the mayonnaise on top of the salad without stirring. To be honest, this is the first time I've encountered this. Usually restaurants put a lemon for dressing salad, not a mayonnaise. I'll probably never go back to an Indian...
