The best bars are all at the northeast end of the Koh Rong Beach have more atmosphere better food and better prices. The pick of the bunch is Phorn’s Rock & Reggae Bar. The food is amazing, Thai specialties with some western favourites, the Red Snapper and the Shrimp Appetiser are the standouts. Over a week on the island we went back multiple times, did everything on the menu and loved the lot. Drinks menu is pretty standard, but cheaper than most places along the beach. Great little spot on the beach! We looked up reviews beforehand and this was one of our top choices. They were originally out of the penne mushroom pasta but made it fresh for it (the sauce) as there were three people in our group who wanted it so they made it with spaghetti noodles and it was fantastic. Note it is made with coconut cream as you can taste it but it’s delicious.

The garlic bread with cheese is a good one as well and I’m so happy things came salted as a lot of Cambodian places don’t tend to salt their food.
