Well, 100 Mile House, congratulations! You have an AMAZING restaurant in Cask and Cleaver Brewing! I travel the canyon frequently, so this will be my new go-to restaurant. Thanks to Neale for his fabulous / informative service! He tells me his personal favorite is their smoked burger, so I DID try it on my return trip and it did not disappoint! I was blown away by in- house made tortilla chips with the Cajun chicken nachos but the smoked burger was equally good! Such flavor and the accompanying fries were crisp, fresh and delicious. Amazing! I'd love to keep this place a secret but too good not to share. So if you travel through 100 Mile, DO STOP, and tell Neale, Ms. Fancy says hello 👋

On the first lovely sunny day of 2025, I went to visit Cask and Cleaver and was very happy I did.
The brewery is easy to find in 100 Mile right on the main road across from Tim Horton's. There is available parking, but not lots.
The brewery itself isn't that large but has lots of character. Everyone I spoke with was very friendly, and they love craft beer, which is great.
I went with a beer flight and had to try a stout as their lager wasn't on tap. All the beers I tried were great and I would say the Ironside IPA was the top pick of the bunch. The Black Forest Stout was quite nice as a beer to finish with. It's got lots of body and flavour so it doesn't taste like Guinness, which is nice.

We absolutely love going to the Cask and Cleaver. The service is always amazing and welcoming, their beers are so amazing, I have yet to have one I don’t like and you can tell they pour their heart and souls into each handcrafted brew. The food is unreal, it’s all so good but my favorites are the smoked burger, pulled pork nachos, their fries and their guacamole) the atmosphere is always fun, the staff will chat with you about anything and make you feel like old friends catching up.
