Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in 100 Mile House

They have an Owner who listens when you have an issue. I will definitely return to this restaurant. Listening owners are an amazing wonderous thing! A big place right on hwy 97. You can sit outside in the heat of summer and enjoy all your ice cream treats. It is nice and clean inside and staff is almost always wonderful. I love the sauces for the chicken strips. Yum. The warm cheese one is my favourite.

There seems to be some confusion between their staff members as to whether they will provide customers with " doggy cones". I vote for "yes please"? I had been to this restaurant at least 2 or 3 times with no issue prior to being told " I have been here for FIVE YEARS WE DONT SERVE THOSE HERE, you will have to buy a childs cone." ( i felt that someone who had been there for FIVE years could split a childs cone into 2 cups easily enough... but no). Anyways the owner was nice enough to answer my review with a lovely response. So i changed this review to a much higher rating, to reflect all the other hard working staff there who are pleasant and did not treat me like i asked for liver on snail oil :) ( Every other DQ I have visited since I have made an inquiry or ordered the dog cones,...

Every time I’ve gone through the drive thru they always give me my ice cream 15 minutes before the rest of my food. If I ask them to make it after the rest of the food they just make it first and let it sit on the counter, So it’s always melted before I get home. I’ve been timing it and for 1 $7 meal, from the time of ordering, takes an average of 22 minutes (No chicken either). Soo many times they’ve given me my blizzard over filled and the cup is COVERED in sticky ice cream. Not a big deal until you’re buying 4 and you can’t even get a lid on it. Asking helps 10% of the time. They even comment on it but don’t even offer napkins, and act like I’m being rude for asking for them. Every other DQ I’ve been too takes...

I wish I had taken a picture of the "food" we received after waiting over 30 minutes with 2 people ahead of us in drive-through. It all went straight into the garbage. You would think after waiting so long, it would have been hot and fresh. You would be wrong. Do yourself a favor and go to the brewery across the street...lol.

They gave us 2 free future meals to replace, but we are not from the area so I gave them to my parents. They failed to say anything about an expiry and my parents went in about 5 weeks later to be told said free meals expired at 4 weeks...lol...what a...
