Canuck Empire Brewing — Restaurant in Abbotsford

OK beer, but service could be better. We stopped by before a Canucks game, so it was probably busier than usual. After we ordered our beer, we went upstairs to find that every seat was full (this would have been nice to know before ordering) There isn't any standing room, so we went outside to the patio. It had been raining all day and recently stopped, so all the furniture was wet. When asked for a cloth to wipe down the seats, they gave us a few thin paper towels to wipe the seats down. It would have been nice if they wiped down the seats for us, or at the very least given us a cloth. We then drank our beers right beside the running generator of a food truck. This is a brewery that’s located right across from the Abbotsford Centre so you can grab a quick beer before heading to the game (which gets busy).

They didn’t have much in terms of food when we came, just ice cream and chip dip, so the snacks on their website wasn’t entirely accurate.

We probably also came at a busy time as 3 of their beers were out and their available beers in the fridge were slim pickings.

Would love to have tried a few more beers that were written about here, but it seems I’ll have to wait to...

Just found this gem of a brewery!. I love that they rotate basically all their beers which will definitely keep me coming back to see what they come up with next! Great selection of beers that’s both different and unique but also delicious. I would definitely give this place a shot if you’re looking for a fun new place that you haven’t tried yet.
