Great feel to this place, I might say that it seems to feel like they are trying to be really trendy, but if they are, it is working! The food is okay. I really enjoyed the pretzel and the dip that came with it. I had a slice of pizza, but it was very soggy and limp. However, it tasted good. I'm going to guess it's a one-off. They do have a pretty good selection of beers and found most of them to be tasty, even though I'm not a fan of the sours. I really enjoyed the Toasted Coconut Black Lager, and I also liked the FH IPA. I do wish they had some "hoppier" beers. The highest IBU rating I could find was 30. I completely recommend you check it out, I don't know if they take reservations (I highly doubt it), but give it a try as it seems to be busy all the time. Which to me seems to be a plus! If you like sour beers, they always have an awesome selection, and they are definitely old school as they prefer bottles over cans for retail. I think bottled beer tastes better than canned for sure! Did I mention they use a wood burning stove for their pizzas! Service was good, but it will all depend on how busy it is, I personally prefer to go up to the counter to order my beer, but unfortunately they are not keen on taking food orders there. They prefer you stand you order card up (hopefully they notice, it took 10 minutes for me to order at my table for a beer and pretzel). Overall, it was a great place, and I will return to try some more beer!

FOOD: Nice variety of items like charcuterie, pizza and etc. The brews are good. They have a decent base of craft beers like Eastern IPA, Dutch Pale Ale and so forth. With a good base they can play with the seasonal stuff which are really nice to check out. My wife and I fell in love with the Lavender ESB and whenever we stop by we always must check the stock. They do offer growler fills. ATMOSPHERE: A campy lodge feel with heated seating outside and fireplace inside. Warm seasons the patch of grass can be extra seating but not during cold seasons. SERVICE: Has been courteous and friendly each time. Square POS has been speedy. There's always someone floating around ready to clear tables which is nice if things get busy and turnover time is important. Parking is limited but kind of remedied by street park. My first time here was December 2016. They didn't have a large heated outside seating nor did they have the out houses at the time. It has expanded greatly from then. It had a nice quiet hidden gem escape from the city feel. I'm happy it's thriving but it's lost the cozy feeling that my wife and I experienced. If it's too busy we skip it on our brew run and at times do a growler fill if our fav seasonal brews are featured. We will now look at going at less peak times.

Lovely brewery! My man and I usually go to the Chilliwack one since it's in walking distance to our place, but we were in the area, so we decided to stop for lunch in the sunshine! Last time we came here was last Spring and man has this place grown. I love the new little wooden patio area they added. They always have new beers, even different from the Chilliwack location so it was nice to try their selection. We sat in the grass with the lawn chairs and had some grilled cheese sandwiches with our beer. They were AWESOME 😋 The grilled cheese must've had some garlic in them! The salad that came with them was yummy as well, it was tossed in miso. As always, Field House is dog friendly! So we brought our pup along. He usually doesn't like being pet by strangers, but the server made an attempt which was nice, she was very polite and calm with him! We will definitely come back and hangout again. I'd love to come later in the evening to hang under the cute lighting they have strung up.

One of my best brewery experiences yet. Family and pet friendly, from a cute puppy to a cat on a leash. It was very busy the sunny late afternoon I visited. The bartenders moved the line quickly and without much wait I had my flight of beers to try. I found a spot on the patio over looking the lawn. Plenty of seating on the patio or small and large groups. Many groups sharing tables. Old school lawn chairs are on the lawn. Many people brought their own blankets as well. I picked this place from the more than one sour option listed on their menu. The dark sour was by far my favourite and I bought a couple to bring back home. There is an option to order food as well and every plate that passed me look delicious. Porta potties seem to be the ones means of a bathroom. There are games on the lawn for people to play. A band was just getting set up as I was finishing my beers. Super glad I stopped in to check out this place. Regret not ordering something to eat.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon. Place was quite busy inside and out. The ambience inside is very nice with the fireplace and decor. My wife and I got a flight of 4 of what was currently on tap (cider, sour wheat gose, dry hopped pineapple sour, and orchard saison). Pretty unimpressed with the flavor notes in all of the choice with the exception of the dry hopped pineapple sour. We also ordered the FASPA Board (charcuterie + local cheeses w/ assorted pickles, chutney, porter bacon jam, spicy mustard, crisps and beer bread). The board was $19 and I was pretty excited since I love a good meat/cheese board however I was thoroughly disappointed when it arrived. $19 for a 2 small portions of meat and cheese. The rest was bread, crisps and pickled veggies. The board was a bread board in my opinion and way overpriced. The “porter bacon jam” looked like bacon grease and had zero flavor. The chutney was yummy and the meat/cheese were good but not enough.
