Gateway Pizza & Curry House — Restaurant in Abbotsford

They USED to be good. In the past 3 months I've ordered from Gateway at least 5-6x times. I've had them make me wait 15-20 min EVERY SINGLE TIME (without exaggeration). The quality has gone down immensely. The people answering the phone do not understand English and have trouble presenting receipts.

Ordered a pizza and it was wrong, instead of fixing and delivering a new one I was asked to come in and bring to determine if it was wrong. I did get an apology though.

Update : 12/20/19 - I ordered a pizza and an Indian dish. Was put on hold and asked my order again. I repeated and said I want milk spice level. Was told my order would be ready in 50 minutes (6:35pm).

We get to Gateway at exactly the time promised and no one is there to greet or anything. Within a 15 minute waiting time I repeated my phone number and order to the 2 different girls that would come by the front desk - 3 times. After waiting 20 minutes we are told we never called in an order. I showed my phone and that I had a 2 minute conversation with one of the girls there and placed my order TWICE in the same call. We received no apology just excuses. That too after being ignored for the most of 15 of the 20 minutes we waited AFTER the time our food was supposed to be ready.

No manager was brought, no apology for the inconvenience, just excuses. We got a "yeah yeah" brush off at the end of it.

What a rude customer service this shop have, seriously very much disappointed and frustrated on their service. I ordered Karahi Chicken and Pizza, we were having a family get together and I paid cash on Take out, they didn’t gave me receipt and the staff lady said for cash purchase no receipts, very wired. I reached home and my guest started eating food and after some time I noticed it’s Karahi Paneer instead of Chicken. I got shocked and called the customer service and they said it was a mistake, I told them my brother is on his way to my home and is it okay if he picks the food, they said okay. When my brother arrived there, the staff told him to bring back the other food and then only they can exchange. My brother said u guys early agreed to give the food, they said one grandpa is waiting for that Karahi Paneer. I then went to the store in the middle of my family party and asked them what’s going on, they replied me in one language that I didn’t understand, I felt taking to them is just waste of time and picked my food. They told me to take both food, like a favour, I said No, what a rude attitude towards customer, I really got insulted in front of my guest and wasted my valuable time. Never going back to this store ever and all my friends...

We recently ordered food from Gateway Pizza, and I have to say, the experience was absolutely amazing! We order shahi paneer , handi paneer , everything turned out to be super delicious. The flavors were rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced — you could really tell the food was made with care. Each dish had its own unique taste, and everything was served hot and fresh, just the way we like it.

The service was also excellent! The staff was really polite, friendly, and attentive, making sure everything was just right. They were quick to take our order and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. It honestly felt like they really cared about their customers’ satisfaction.

The atmosphere at Gateway Pizza was another highlight. The place was clean, cozy, and had a really welcoming vibe. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy great food, and spend quality time with friends or family.

Overall, we had such a great experience — amazing food, wonderful service, and a pleasant atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back again soon and highly recommend Gateway Pizza to anyone looking for delicious food and a great...
