The female owner of this restaurant is just insane, uncommunicative, unbelievably churlish, and unacceptably overbearing.

I was there tonight with my friend in full of delight and excitement, but from the very moment we stepped into the restaurant, we started being ruined our joyful and happy mood. She was extremely cranky and rude, and whenever we started communicating with her, she frowned her face intentionally distracted with no attention given to her customers. We were just embarrassed all the time one after another consecutively. She didn't understand what we said right, then she showed her upset face and changed her tone more arrogant, which intimidated and scared us. She was acting like a master regarding and treating us like her servants, literally as if we must obey every word she spits out! I was purely shocked at her way of behaving toward her customers because I was new there, and also, I've never seen any restaurant owners behaving that unthinkably obnoxiously.

We kept trying to be as polite as possible mustering up all our patience and politeness, but at the end when she was completely and deliberately ignoring what we asked her to correct her mistake with our orders and saying "you're not satisfied with this restaurant, don't come anymore!," I couldn't suppress my emotions any longer. I responded like "how could you treat your customer this way?," she retorted "I am busy. Don't come here!" What? I couldn't believe my ears!! We couldn't go further from there because her English was not good enough for us to even talk further to her. She behaves like she can make any mistakes but not the customer, and she can speak a broken English confusing her customers and misunderstand what her customers say, but she got mad toward us not toward herself when she couldn't understand us correct and right! How ridiculous, unjust, and unfair! And, what a grumpy old woman!!

She ruined our dinner thoroughly and shattered our happy mood into one thousand pieces, making me feel so bad and sorry for my friend I invited there! We'll, of course, never ever go back there, but I recommend and advise with all due respect that prospective customers who consider going there may as well cancel the plan! On top of all of those I have mentioned above, those dishes served were all mediocre and pathetically below average!!

Last but not least, there are plenty of choices of restaurants which serve delicious food and know how to serve their customers in a good, professional manner; we should support those restaurants with a genuine heart for their success for our community. What do you,...

The food was really, really bad. I ordered four items. One of them was completely inedible. I've never sent an item back at a restaurant before but this was just... embarrassingly awful. The server was kind enough, and took the item back. When I went to pay, I noticed the item I had not eaten and sent back was still on my bill. The server called the owner out from the back, who immediately became extremely escalated and hostile. To the point where I was glad I didn't leave my address on the COVID form - she seemed like she was going to straight up hunt me down and kill me for not liking her food! I tried to explain to her that the wording for the item was incorrect, and did not reflect what was served. I even pointed this out on the menu to her. I understand mistakes happen so I was happy to point out the error.... she just didn't get it, and what's worse, she was extremely hot tempered and straight up mean. Raising her voice at me and everything. I read a few bad reviews before going but figured I'd give them the benefit of the doubt.... I'm just in town visiting but I'll be sure to advise my friends and family to steer clear of this place.

I should note, the server was friendly and helpful - shout out to her. I feel bad she has to work for these people.

**in response to the restaurant owners reply: I did not keep the item, I sent it back before eating it. I did not send it back IMMEDIATELY, but did so within 3 minutes. she is straight up lying.... I'd say I'm surprised but with how she handled herself in the restaurant, raising her voice at me in front of other customers for pointing out an error on her menu, I'm not. Surely there is a course or something out there she can take to learn how to speak with customers respectfully. From the other 1 star reviews you can see it is a pattern... I work in customer service and can't imagine treating my...

This place is dirty. Me and my brother were hoping to just have a quick snack it this sushi place, no problem. We started off with a spider roll, which was mediocre at best. We got handed 2 dirty, stained plates with grime on them we were able to scrape off. The roll was HUGE. It would fall apart because it's too thinly sliced for such a large roll and I ended up digging most of the stuff out of the roll to be able to eat it. Then we ordered 2 dynamite combos and the rolls were complete trash. We were so unsatisfied with the dynamite rolls that we didn't want to pay for them. It's quite unusual, I've tried tons of sushi places and never had a problem with a dynamite roll. Usually there's just a little avocado, some crab, shrimp tempura, cucumber, and that's it. There was tons of fake crab meat then just a little bit of cucumber and tempura in the center. Instead of just deducting the dynamite rolls off the bill from everything else, we were given attitude saying that every place does it differently, and they tried muscling us to pay the bill. After that for a first experience, we'll never dine here again. I'm not sure about this place because I've tried a hundred sushi places from the Fraser Valley to Vancouver and it's never been like that, usually the dynamite roll is exactly the same. These guys really need to study what other locations in Abbotsford do to make their dynamite rolls. Upon me and my brother getting home, my brother had vomited what looks like the spider roll, which he ate more of than me. We believe that the mayonnaise they used in it had gone bad and that's why he got sick. I'm really surprised that food inspectors allow this...
