To your products: I bought some pastries, as usual in North Amerika, Sugar and Glace is the most important ingredient, that's all I was tasting, it gave me a toothache, and had to flush 3 times with mouthwash, to get rid of the sugar. Sensitive teeth I guess... It would be nice to adapt recipes from Europe, even the buns are too heavy and have the consistency of Marzipan. Their selection far outpaces any other bakeries, and everything is quite tasty. There is usually something new or seasonal available, and they make authentic sourdough that is better than what I've had in San Francisco. While they are a chain, everything is made fresh in store, rather than the made elsewhere and baked in store methods that the supermarkets have adopted.
