TL DR: DO NOT DINE HERE. They serve Rusted Metal with food.
We ordered takeout from Gian’s Indian Cuisine on September 28 while heading to a friend’s place. Placing the order was easy and the staff on the phone were professional. They told us it would be ready in 30 minutes but it actually took 50. That delay meant we had to wait around and it pushed back our trip.
The food itself was expensive for the quality and taste. They also serve a buffet Monday to Thursday but after this experience I would not be interested in trying it.
The real problem was with the vegetable biryani. When we sat down to eat we found a large rusted iron bolt inside the dish. This was shocking and very concerning since it was meant for an elderly in our group. Thankfully he noticed it before eating. The dish had to be thrown out because of the health risk which left everyone hungry and upset.
On our way back we stopped at the restaurant and returned the biryani. They refunded 20 dollars which was fair but does not address the bigger concern which is food safety. Finding a rusted piece of metal in food is not something that can be excused with a refund.
This was my first time ordering from this restaurant and it will be my last. I cannot say if it was just one mistake or if it points to bigger issues in their kitchen but I am not willing to risk it again.

The server was a lady and a girl working. The lady was so rude, knowing that we were in rush still she kept on wasting our time and her as well, and then food took 35 mins to walk through the table. If the lady is part of the management or the owners please try and understand the value of others time. And if the customer is punjabi Dont struggle with English. It is never graceful when customer communicates in punjabi and the server is running through her English. They never seem that busy to me whenever I have gone for dine in or take out, and I know with COVID they need to skip couple of tables etc. So I am writing this review considering that. They have a middle age Indian guy who runs the show and probably one of the owner and still service is this bad. Now to their portions, wow for the price of the dish you get a small bowl of dish which is such a joke. Just to give ex. For 2 regular size 1 non veg and 1 veg dish and 5 naans, you will pay close to $50 plus, this is take out price. Again, wait close to 1.5 hour for food even if you ordering ahead on the phone, pay $50 bucks and eat mediocre food taste wise.
