Little Japan is another fantastic Japanese restaurant in Abbotsford. When I came to the restaurant, there was available seating. I ordered the Gyu Donburi and a side order of the Saba Sushi Roll. The donburi was magnificent; it tasted appropriately sweet, the rice was moist and the beef was flavourful. I also enjoyed the salad that came with the entree. The saba roll was especially great. The waiter was alert to my needs and was courteous about her service. The interior design was nice, although it looked like it was something else before it became a Japanese restaurant. I very much liked Little Japan and will come back again.

We stopped by on our way back from Chilliwack. The beef teriyaki was soaked with sauce and very little beef. The taste is similar to any other Japanese restaurant. The rolls was all falling apart and hard to pick up but the ingredients was fresh. What surprised me was the extra stuff in the dynamite rolls (crunchy bits, leftover tempura?) and in my chopped scallop cone is the imitation crab meat. It tasted ok but it wasn’t the texture I wanted for my chopped scallop. The service was good but price point was a bit high compared to most Japanese places I’ve visited.

The sushi at this place is absolutely amazing! Before we discovered this restaurant, my husband didn’t even like sushi—but now, he often suggests we order from here because it’s just that delicious and unforgettable. The sushi isn’t just a meal here; it’s like a beautiful painting—truly a work of art. The staff are incredibly kind, respectful, and genuinely lovely people. I highly, highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. And finally, I just want to say thank you—it was absolutely delicious!

I used to go to little Japan when I lived in Abbotsford about 9 years ago and i still love it and it's just as i remember and definitely modified to suit bigger dining crowds, I came in from the island and was taken to birthday dinner with my dad and the first choice that rang into our minds was little Japan. So of you're looking for a place that has a freshly made balanced meal with a nice calm atmosphere and even a private atmosphere when you get the large booth that's available in the very back. Lovely food and great prices with awesome service I'm super happy to say that this business hasn't changed in the best way possible after almost 10 years of me being away they are just as exceptional as I remember and the owner is super nice...

4 of us went there for lunch today, service always has been some what slow but today it was abysmal. Got there at 11:36 there were maybe 3 tables with possibly 6 customers. We ordered and received the soup , water and tea . 2 in our party received their meals fairly quickly. However when the take out crowd get preferential treatment the sit down crowd seem to suffer. 2 of us never did receive their meal and we left at 12:27 very disappointed and totally unhappy and very hungry. I will go back because of the good food but I will definately make it known when I sit down that I expect to be served in an appropriate amount of time and prior to the...

I struggle to find an appropriate rating for this restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was very good, but it was difficult to communicate with our waitress as we spoke two different languages. The result was that I never found out if there was onion or garlic in the spicy tuna sauce, so I only ate half just in case it made me sick and took the rest home. I ordered the spicy tuna roll and the tuna with avocado roll. My friend ordered a teriyaki undone and a California roll. The atmosphere was nice, tables were clean and Tammy Wynette played on loop the whole time we were there. Our hostess was lovely. BONUS...tuna roll didn't...
