I used to go to little Japan when I lived in Abbotsford about 9 years ago and i still love it and it's just as i remember and definitely modified to suit bigger dining crowds, I came in from the island and was taken to birthday dinner with my dad and the first choice that rang into our minds was little Japan. So of you're looking for a place that has a freshly made balanced meal with a nice calm atmosphere and even a private atmosphere when you get the large booth that's available in the very back. Read more4 of us went there for lunch today, service always has been some what slow but today it was abysmal. Got there at 11:36 there were maybe 3 tables with possibly 6 customers. We ordered and received the soup , water and tea . 2 in our party received their meals fairly quickly. However when the take out crowd get preferential treatment the sit down crowd seem to suffer. 2 of us never did receive their meal and we left at 12:27 very disappointed and totally unhappy and very hungry. The service was excellent and the food was very good, but it was difficult to communicate with our waitress as we spoke two different languages. The result was that I never found out if there was onion or garlic in the spicy tuna sauce, so I only ate half just in case it made me sick and took the rest home. I ordered the spicy tuna roll and the tuna with avocado roll. My friend ordered a teriyaki undone and a California roll.
