Wow, wow, wow. Some great food! I spent around $40 (before uber eats charges to try this place!) Yes I had a uber promotion.
First off I ordered a Buffalo Mary, The chicken is so thick, juicy and really not oily! The Buffalo sauce was OMGGG!! (Get into that later!) The bun melts in you're mouth, the crispy chicken patty adds the crunch, the ingredients taste fresh and was just one of the most amazing spicy/Buffalo burgers from a fast food restaurant I have ever tried.
The 3 piece Buffalo tenders with extra sauce was WOW!, The crunch was great but the Buffalo Sauce (I think I am addicted!) Savory, spicy, and with a touch of sweet. I am a Buffalo and hot sauce connoisseur and this sauce had me scraping the sauce out of the bottom of the container and wanting more, seriously you should bottle and sell it!
The Sweet Heat, Sweet Thai Chili Sidekick was great and the sweet chili and the crispy chicken and lettuce balanced very well!
The biscuits were tender, flaky and fresh with a nice hit of butter, but eat them quick because as they cool they become bricks of flour.
Now for the bad....
The Nashville Mary was extremely bland! The website claims it has a hot honey Nashville glaze, however I felt like it was just a regular Big Mary, just a note... I love extra sauce on my burgers and in my uber notes I asked for extra hot honey on my Nashville, when I called my restaurant to make sure they got the notes, they employee stated that hot honey glaze does not come on the Nashville Mary, contradictory to the company website, it was dry and horrible!
The coleslaw while delicious fresh and tasty, $3.49 for a tiny and I mean tiny container of coleslaw at that price is just insane! Who thought of your prices?! Everything else was decently priced but $3.50 for a tiny coleslaw, come on!
You're Uber profile does not even have an option to add an extra dip for the chicken tenders, I called my restaurant to see if they would add an extra as a courtesy and they replied that corporate has emailed uber to fix this and they would not provide an additional sauce! Seriously! $40 order and you won't even give an additional dip?
There are items listed on the B.C. website that you do not provide on Uber Eats, do you need an Uber Professional like myself to update and provide a better Uber Experience?!
Overall, some great food, amazing chicken, better customer service and recipe knowledge needed, and way better social media, and tech delivery knowledge...
Read moreUPDATE Feb. 2023 . sadly te last time I went there the chicken was a soggy greasy mess and abit undercooked . I had high hopes for them . I emailed tgeir corp office but they dont seem to care. ------------------😢😢😢😢😢😢🤨🤨 Much better than KFC . Went again but this time the chicken was greasy unfortunately . The service was terrific though and the chicken and wedgie fries were still very good . im not sure if they dump the chicken on drain racks though but that would help for sure . after a few minutes turn the chicken over . It really does help . I know this as i grew up with a top chef who made the best KFC chicken over 60 years ago in Penticton BC . i think using recycled oil is used but i know fresh works better im told . update. Very greasy to the point of being soggy . not crispy and they forgot to put my gravy in the order . They were goodat first but not any...
Read moreThis is exactly what you'd expect from a fast food chicken place. The chicken was juicy, flavourful, with large pieces. The taters are also incredible. The coating on the chicken and taters is different than all the other chicken places, and it is to their benefit. The side salads are average, and their journey into wraps and taquitos has not impressed me. Stick to your roots Mary! Keep it simple. Chicken, taters, and the big Mary sandwich (the spicy has the perfect amount of heat)! If you haven't already done so, give this place a try. You won't leave hungry, or disappointed. Before there was one in my area, and my parents would come to visit, I would have them get it the night before, and bring it on the 5 hour flight with them (I don't live in a small town, I live in Vancouver, BC). That should give you an idea of how good...
