Visited today almost after a year or so from a previous bad experience with the staff and food quality at this location. Thought I give them another chance for the sake of my kid who wanted " happy meal". Was hoping service would have improved.. but boy was a I wrong!!!! The order taker was polite and my order was accurate.. The lady at the first window taking payments was nice enough. However problem occured at the 2nd window where you pick up food.. 2 indian females were at this spot, both staring at us, no smile, no hello, no thank you, just handed me the food, and kept giving me the strong harsh stare..hmm not sure why? Anyway i asked for Mchicken sauce, one of them handed me 1, I jokingly said just 1? And one of them replied super rudely " yes, we charge for it" sure charge me , if I am buying a meal i can probably afford a 0.50 for a sauce!!! No need the attitude, this could have been advised politley. Also lighten up and smile..or work elsewhere of you are unhappy in public service sector and what's up with the stares?? now to the food quality, rubbery chicken nuggets, old cold fries and melted yogurt tube... quality check before handing or packing the food? In case McDonald forgot it's called happy meal and a child is going eat it, at least have the decencey to serve warm food for a kid sake..no need to mention it went in the trash. Management- if you care enough to know the 2 brown girls that served me, i visited on Friday July 14th around 12pm and bought 4 piece chicken nuggets happy meal. Shoudn't be very hard to figure out which one of your staff i am talking about. Basic customer service skills should be taught before assigning staff at public facing duties. Food was cold and fries were stale... bad service with absolutely medicore food quality. Won't be visiting again even my kid doesn't want to after tasting his food....Happy meal needs a name change to Nasty...
Read moreHugh fail this morning at the drive thru window. NOT proficient enough to notice I was sitting at the window WAITING!! To have my order taken THEN the person who drives up beside me at the other window gets THEIR order taken, THEN 3 times I tell the gal taking the order what I want and get up to the window to pay and she still didn’t process it! Is it that bad that businesses can’t find competent workers to get it right. Does management pat these workers on the back and say “ Oh well MAYBE we will get it right next time! “ Being part of running a business I don’t even get used to their first name because they are in and out the door before they even get to the probation period. Most often this is because of the entitlement, and accommodating things they THINK they deserve without even proving their worth. NOW I have to blame management for this disaster….come on! Train, equip and send these next generation of workers out so they succeed! Fail to train, equip and give them the skills….plan to fail. Oh and by the way….it would be nice if the sandwich was wrapped up instead of thrown in the bag! Good job! NOT! Again Nov 8 2024. Drive thru is a disaster they wander around inside like zombies and can’t get your order right at the window! Again Hugh fail for management as it’s the blind leading the blind. You would think an organization this large would have someone at the helm leading these lost sheep. Read moreWe were driving into New Westminster from Kelowna and our baby got hungry and needed a diaper change. First exit we found we see this McDonalds. So we pull in, and head inside. We were able to order right away, and then I went in search of a change table. There wasn't one. Disappointing for a place that claims to be a "family" restaurant, but not a deal breaker. The washrooms were pretty gross though. I went back out to wait for our food, and saw what looked like a supervisor in street clothes with her purse standing by the screen expediting since the staff were standing around looking confused. Then another staff member in street clothes walked through the food prep area to leave - not exactly foodsafe. It took over 10 minutes to receive our food, and of course we weren't smart enough to check it right away. So we get back on the road and take a look (not even 5 minutes after finally receiving our meals). Fries were obviously old, and undersalted - in fact I'm pretty sure they weren't salted at all and the little bit on them was just leftovers from the salt pit. My husband's burger was ice cold and tasted like it had been sitting a long while. If I had to guess, I'd say at least 15 minutes past usable time. My wrap was ok but tasted a bit off. Not 24 hours later I was showing signs of food poisoning. Once I was feeling a bit better, I went on their website to submit a concern and found out I can't without a receipt which I wasn't offered. I will not be returning. If we have to stop there again, there's a Booster...
