Nando's PERi-PERi — Restaurant in Abbotsford

I have been going to Nando's since it first came to Abbotsford.I always get the quarter chicken breast and large peri fries. Yesterday I called my order in for same asking to have my order packed for a longer transit as I do not live in Abbotsford.I arrived paid for my order and was told it would be a few minutes.I say and waited...during this time a person arrived in the kitchen with a spray bottle of??and proceeded to spray floor around the back and side of grill floor as food was cooking.This same person came back with a mop and bucket the mop was filthy and proceeded to mop floor,meantime fries were cooked and placed in container and put under a heater. There was a girl cooking during this time. I did see a breast of chicken on the grill which was taken off and put aside under no heat.A new person arrived and places multiple pieces of chicken on the grill and starts preparing these,meanwhile the original fries and chicken are still sitting there.Yhey suddenly realize that my order wasn't filled yet so the girl at the front packs up my order and gives it to me This almost half a hour later,meanwhile the guy who washed the floor comes into the line and starts to prepare food without gloves.Did he wash his hands???I know the guy cooking the chicken and chopping it up didn't have gloves on. I got home of course the fries were cold as well as the chicken needed to heat up .The fries were overcooked to start with and trying to reheat this meal was a disaster.For over $16 for this is unacceptable. I love Nando's and their food has always been good but now they don't seem to care will I go back depends on if the up their standards and start to care about their customers and the quality and food safe issues with their...

The manager at this place is so shitty and the employees are liars. We ordered 100$ worth of food. Expectations of the food were so bad. We asked for extra basting for the chicken. First they said they can’t do it and then said they will. When we got home checked the chicken it was FULLY dry chicken. We called and complained about the chicken. The shift manager said she did put the extra basting. We explained that we wouldn’t be complaining otherwise, as we did spend 100$ on the food. We then said we don’t want a refund or the whole order done again, just want just the chicken to be done right. She then said, “ok come in and we can do the chicken for you” we made sure to ask, what should we say when we come in. She says “you don’t need to do anything just come in and we can get it for you” we go in the stupid manager lies about anything saying “oh I can’t authorize that” “we wouldn’t say that” all while the the shift manager sit there denying the whole conversation happened. Tell me why we would come in if you weren’t going to rectify the situation? Why would we waste the time have you guys throw accusation at us? Why would we come in and have you embarrass us for what? We were asked to come in and you guys would fix the mistake that YOU guys made. Where is the customer service? This manager was so disrespectful. No customer service...

So I order from here all the time!! All the way from Alberta, over skip the dishes, to get food sent to my grandpa that lives close to this location. Today was a special day for him and so when I ordered his food I wanted it to be perfect. I forgot to add a soda in his order so I had to make another “skip” order. I called Nandos to see if the could combine the orders instead if sending it separately,so that my grandpa could get everything all at once instead of 2 different deliveries. I spoke to a lady named Nathalie(sorry if I spelt that name wrong). SHE IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST EMPLOYEE YOU HAVE!!! She took care of what I needed and also went above and beyond and showed me superior service and offered to write a special note for my grandpas order. NEVER IN MY LIFE, have I ever had someone go out of their way to do somthing like that , let alone someone I’ve only talked to over the phone. She completely made my day and I will forever be great full at such a small but big kind gesture!!! I want to make sure her kindness and her amazing service does not go unnoticed!!!because of her and the amazing quality food, I will always continue to order from here, at this location ONLY! I and on behalf of my family really really appreciate Nathalie and her kind heart! She deserves a raise...
