Purdys Chocolatier — Restaurant in Abbotsford

I bought 4 ice cream cones. While she made them she informed me that toppings were a dollar extra but she wouldn’t charge for a little bit. :) I thanked her and we continued. I asked because my kids were asking for the extras and I was concerned about the cost. In the end she charged me 5 X $1.50 extra. I suppose I misheard her when she said $1.50, not $1.00, but only 2 of us asked for the signature little chocolate dip and sprinkles/nuts, and 1 asked for just nuts.

She insisted that the chocolate dip is an extra $1.50 and the extra sprinkles of any kind is also $1.50. She refunded me $1.50, but never apologized for not informing me.

As well, the ice cream melted super fast and didn’t have much flavour. I love Purdy’s chocolate, and I expected expensive, but $37 for 4 mediocre ice cream cones and poor service...

Knowledgeable and experienced and friendly asked them a few hard questions about the company and they had the right answer impressive. .. Great quality of chocolate $$$$ but worth the price. I tried to get a job here but not good enough. Plenty of parking and has a different gift boxes sizes to choose from. Standard yet uniformed displays and presentable and clean and asked if we would like to sample excellent marketing and the employee told us in great detail each chocolate we sampled. I like that someone who takes pride in there job. Great uniforms probably could use a makeover but will do for now. The uniforms need more pop..

The front desk (maybe indian) girl is super rude, she never greets us everytime we visit. She won't say welcome or greeting of any kind after we were super nice to us. She needs to be teached some service manners by her managers. I think she is working here from long and being same...
