Zaika Tastes of India — Restaurant in Abbotsford

We ordered whole bunch of food about a month ago and so. I ordered 12 plus naans with 4-5 large dishes for our guests. When we received the food and served it , realized we didn’t receive all the naans we had ordered. We called back and the girl at front desk had no clue what we were talking about and wouldn’t understand. My mom even explained that out of 12 guests she had to cook roti for 6-7 of them and they didn’t give us the correct amount we ordered and paid for. She wouldn’t budge or was not understanding at all. She kept on saying next time you guys order we will make sure and blah blah. This was not the point at all, the point was the dishonesty and if the mistake was made just simply own up to it. We liked the previous owners and have ordered from him few times for 35 plus people and never had any issues with him. He went above and all to make his clientele happy. Will not...

This is one of my favourite Indian takeout places in Abbotsford. I especially love the Aloo Gobi. My children love the Butter Chicken. Whenever I have friends visiting I always order a meal from here, and my friends always say it's amazing!

Honestly, I don't understand all the 1-star reviews here. It doesn't make sense. I suspect they are fake reviews. Also, any review that complains about a bad "dine-in" experience is clearly fake since this place is 100% takeout only. (Or maybe the review was meant for one of the other places named "Zaika" - there are a few, but this is the only "Zaika Blueridge").

My only complaint: I prefer Patna's samosas (in Cedar Park), but everything else I've had at Zaika Blueridge...

Lalit and his whole team is phenomenal. We had my wedding catering for the gurdwara from them and had mehndi party at their new hall in Mission in July 2023. We still receive compliments on how tasty the food was and how it was above and beyond at what people have seen at a wedding, that made the entire experience amazing. The entire langar hall was filled with guests enjoying the various desserts. On wedding day, we got their food during doli time and everyone loved their wraps.
