This has always been my go-to place, and I’ve really appreciated the improvements under the new management. Normally, the staff are super friendly and helpful, which is why I’m still giving a 4-star review despite a disappointing experience on June 24th around 7:15 PM.
Unfortunately, the girl working that evening was quite rude and had a terrible attitude. I ordered a small sub, but she rang me up for a regular. When I pointed out that the price didn’t match what I usually pay and that the menu clearly listed it as $9.99, she insisted that was the correct price, even though it wasn’t. Eventually, she adjusted it, but there was no apology or acknowledgment of the mistake, and the whole interaction felt unnecessarily unpleasant. It felt like she was getting pissed off that I asked for her to give me the correct price, that I should have been given in the starting.
I’m hoping this was just a one-off situation, because I’ve always had great service here otherwise from other staff and I enjoy this Quzinos location compared to the other one in Abbotsford, the sandwiches here taste...
Read moreI came about a half hour to close on Wednesday May 28, 2025 and to say the service was less than desirable is a under statement. I attached a picture of the sub she made me. It was pretty gross. I couldn't even eat half of it. She was NOT friendly at all. I think she was talking to someone on a earbud and acted like me being there to get a sub was an inconvenience to her. She literally never smiled once, never said have a nice day, nothing. I asked for lettuce on my sub and look in that picture do you see any lettuce. I am literally getting 1 vegetable and she put none of it on my sub. I asked for 2 honey mustards on the side and she loaded my sub with so much sauce it was gross. The sub tasted how it looks, gross. Read moreWent near closing, I was the only customer, I asked for a sub on the gluten smart bread. I even reminded her to use a clean knife because I have an allergy. When I went home & took a few bites out of the bread I noticed it looked different than the previous times. I called the store and the employee told me that they “don’t have gluten smart bread” & that I “asked for rosemary bread”. There is a large sign inside the store showing they carry gluten smart bread. She was wearing AirPods while making and taking my order, perhaps she didn’t hear me correctly because of that.
