Family Pizza Airdrie — Restaurant in Airdrie

My family has always struggled to find a restaurant where we all love the menu. We all have different preferences when it comes to pizza, especially so it was a great surprise and relief when every person in my household loved the pizza from Family Pizza in Airdrie! We have tried many of the menu items and have never been disappointed. My personal favourite is the deep fried mushrooms. We all especially love the pizza sauce, and the crust is a happy medium for those of us who prefer thick crust and those of us who prefer thin crust. The ingredients are always fresh and the servings are always generous. Family Pizza has made my life so much easier because I know it is someplace we can order from where everyone ends up happy with their dinner. Additionally, the staff is always helpful and friendly. The restaurant is clean and inviting. The only thing I would change would possibly be to add more lighting in their parking area at night (but that's just because I get anxious). I would 100% recommend trying their puzza and other menu items. Also, they give back to the community through their daily dinner giveaways on Facebook! Love them and I am so glad they opened up...

CONSUMER BEWARE

My wife and I stopped in for our first time tonight. We used their papered menu to get a 2 for 1, 2 topping, 2 medium pizzas.

Our first problem started with the toppings. I wanted both pizzas with pepperoni and extra cheese. I wasn't allowed to do extra cheese as one of the 2 toppings so they charged me extra for that cheese and I was only allowed 1 topping of pepperoni. I didn't make to much of a fuss here even though I thought it was a little ridiculous.

My major complaint was the size of the pizzas that I ordered. They were supposed to be medium sized pizzas at 10". The majority of pizza places in North America are 10 inches for small, 12 inches for medium, and large at 14 inches. This place has mediums at 10 and larges at 12. I feel cheated for the amount I paid compared to the amount of food we received. Norms are norms for a reason, and it's not made very clear that their pizza sizes are smaller than standard. We also ordered two pastas which we felt were small...

New place in town...here we go for my stance.

1. Staff is very friendly and attentive, they're still in their "soft launch" and have been very busy.
2. Bubble tea is great, they even have pop boba!
3. Pizza, if you're a crust person like me you might be a bit disappointed, texture is good, but not much flavor. You'll definitely need a dipping sauce -we tried the meatball, chicken teriyaki, and Hawaiian with mushoom ... meatball was just ok, didn't love the flavor of the meatballs...Hawaiian was pretty good, ham tasted like it was smoked, so if you like that, then this is for you. Teriyaki chicken was really good, I'll definitely get that again!
4. price to me seems a little high, we got 3 pizzas and the cheesy bread for $35, which wouldn't be bad except the medium pizzas are almost individual size. All in all we will go back to try...
