Wow! Just, wow! This place is incredible! No wonder the line up goes out the door when this place gets busy. It's 100% worth the wait if you forget to make a reservation! Luckily my husband made a reservation and we were able to come in a bit earlier after calling and confirming, day of. Where to start? Well, I've heard so much about the Saganaki (flaming cheese) that we HAD to try it. Oh. My. God. It was incredible! What an entertaining dish! The taste and presentation was awesome! I also attempted to try at least 4 beverages from the cocktail menu. I tried the Bay Breeze (which was a great sweet cocktail), the Mediterranean, (which was delicious), their valentines special which was amaretto and cranberry juice (equally as yummy as the Mediterranean), and the Aphrodite (which was my favourite). We ordered a platter that had lamb (incredible), pork and beef skewers (so tender and delicious), chicken breast (tasty and seasoned well), rice pilaf (reminded me of my recently deceased grandmother's 🥲), Greek potatoes (tomato-y, very soft and tasty), and Spanikopita (spinach and feta pastry... tbh, probably my least favourite item), and it came with tzatziki (delicious, and garlicky), and a Caesar Salad (creamy, and tangy... best Caesar Salad in Airdrie). We also ordered the pita and Hummus to go with it all. It was incredible! The Hummus was garlicky, smooth, and creamy! For dessert, we tried their new dessert, which I forget the name of. It was a hot custard, phylo dough tart. So delicious! My husband has a texture aversion, but as much as he hated the texture, he LOVED the taste and helped me devour it! 100% would order that every time. The service was also above and beyond. I had told our waitress that it was our first time coming in and she made sure to let me know what certain items were, or what was realllllly worth trying while we were there. She also recommended that Valentine's drink special and I was so excited to try it. She was absolutely lovely, and made the experience even better! I love how the restaurant is laid out. You don't feel too close to any other tables so you have your own personal private dining space, and it doesn't get awkward when someone else is seated nearby, because they aren't that close! I love it! We spent just over $200, including a nice tip for the restaurant. This place is 1000% worth it if you haven't been in yet. Run, don't walk, and make a reservation here ASAP!

I absolutely love the food here, it’s delicious! Service is great when you eat in but not once has my takeout order been correct in all the times I’ve come here. I get the lamb souvlaki pita with salad as the side, double salad if I’m ordering on the dinner menu. Dressing always on the side so it doesn’t make a mess. Often times I’ve gotten potato or rice as the side, the wrong salad and dressing is almost always in the salad and leaks everywhere. This time my friend picked up food for us and was even given the lamb meal instead of the pita that I’d ordered and was very excited for. I live almost 2 hours away so it’s not like I can go back and fix it. I do also find their prices to be high, and the menu switches over to the more expensive dinner menu at 2pm which seems way too early. I’ve even been told I had to order from the dinner menu at 1:45 before. The only difference from what I can tell is the addition of a side salad. I would rather have the option to pay less money for just the pita vs having to get an extra salad or sides that I don’t even want. Love you Paros, I will continue to order here but please get your takeout orders figured out!

You can tell this place used to be great... Unfortunately it seems it has become a kitchen nightmare. I orderd to go and waited nearly 2 hours for my food. Many tables whom had come in well after were served and left before I did. They don't allow the staff to keep tips so be wary that your tips are going to the owner. The place is subpar and looks like it hasn't been updated nor cleaned in YEARS. Photo below is of their ceiling. Weeks later when I mentioned it to them.. it is still dirty. The food is basic at best but not worth the astronomical pricing. I tried to give it another chance the other day and it took 20 minute before I got my beer and they had maybe 3 tables... I do not recommend this place at all. Sometime you need to know when to quit... and this place need a real.make over. The owner needs to find a proper cook... they are short staffed and no one wants to work for them and I can see why... relying on her family to come help. I gave it 2 stars because I feel bad... and the food wasn't horrible. I'm being nice about this one...really nice...

When I first had food here, it was an amazing experience. The portions were a good size, price was reasonable, everything tasted fresh and was so flavourful. The lemon potatoes - which were my favorite dish - were so bright and full of lemon flavor and the highlight of the meal for me.

Fast forward a a year or two and it is like everything has changed. I had ordered food from here a couple months ago, the bill seemed really high and the food was not as great.... I figured it must be a one off - maybe I messed up when I ordered. Given Covid and whatnot, I wanted to support local so I just looked past it.

Then tonight.

My family and I ordered dinner for takeout. I was again greeted with a high price tag for the meal - $24 for one chicken skewer, some potatoes and salad is a bit overpriced. We were told food would be ready in 25 minutes when we called, we came 35 minutes later just to give a bit more time just in case. I arrived for pick up, there was no one at the front to greet you, a lady at the bar looked up at me but there was no acknowledgement of my existence past that, no level of customer service. It took a good five minutes or more before a male waiter? Manager? Walked by and asked if I had been helped. I told him I was here for a pickup and he said it would be right up. I stood there waiting for over 20 minutes for my meals. The restaurant wasn't even that busy so I couldn't see why it was taking so long. I requested extra taziki sauce for the meals (I figured it was just little containers so we wanted enough for the pitas) and the waitress wanted to charge $9.00 for extra taziki.... Needless to say we declined as that is a ridiculous amount of money for taziki - I will say the taziki provided though is a generous helping.

We got the meals home and it was quite disappointing. The potatoes were soggy and overly doused in oil or whatever is used for cooking. Very little to no lemon flavour. The single skewer of chicken was half dry and half edible. The taziki was way over seasoned and tasted like a container of garlic was poured into it. The Caesar salad was swimming in dressing and tasted disgusting - couldn't even eat it. Pita bread was also dry but still a bit edible.

I'm disappointed as this used to be such an amazing restaurant with good food and felt very authentic and now it seems rushed and slapped together. I can't say I would return now after two poor experiences. I'm just sad that this once kind of hidden gem is now nothing to write home about. I don't know if there was a change in ownership or what has happened but it's definitely not the...

We have always gone to Paros on main in airdre to get our greek on !!!and It has always been awesome food except this time was realy bad..and our first time back since covid and was so looking forward to it. turned out to be such a disappointment 😞 that I don't think we'll bother to go all that way again..will have to find somewhere else in calgary..first the husband wanted the rack of lamb and they were out..i wanted calamari they were out..so we settled to get the souvolaki plater the salad came it took a bit but was ok then when the food finaly came ( it took forever) the spanikapita was so flat and greasy looking like it was sitting all night or something i immediately sent it back the rest of the plater was also a wash... They put the tomato sauce for the kefteds all over the plater covering everything and looked like soup there was so much and tasted bitter.not good at all so I tried salvaging some of the rice on the end without any sauce a couple spoon fulls was all i could manage to get and my chicken souvolaki. And it was cold to boot.we were not impressed and when the waitress finaly came by and I told her about it she asked if we wanted to send it back..I said no because it took 1 1/2 hrs already wasn't going to wait we had other places to go. She didnt even apologize or offer to take anything off the bill..I think she would of gotten the hint when there's 3/4 of a platter sitting there and the rest...
