A&W Canada — Restaurant in Ajax

Went tonight to pick up dinner, ordered an uncle mushroom burger meal and a 3 strips meal, and was literally the worst experience here I’ve ever had. So I walk home with my food and drinks and open the bag to see a box and a burger with lettuce, so I know it’s not mine and go back. I understand that mistakes happen! I work at a place with drive thru and get that things get mixed up, but what I don’t get is giving me the wrong size burger (very obviously not an uncle patty) after asking me 5 TIMES to clarify, and forgetting the chicken strips and having to chase me outside to give them to me. Seeing as how it’s been 45 minutes since I first left, and too late for me to eat at this point, my mom went back for me. When she got there she explained that I had already been back, showed that the burger was the wrong size and explained she had the same burger last week, the supervisor that had chased after me before touched the burger to check and told my mom she was wrong. She then told her they wouldn’t make her a new one and didn’t even offer a refund. I went through thr drive through on my home one night and ordered 2 apple pies. As I was eating one of the pies I found 2 pieces of plastic in it. The plastic was about the size of my fingernail. I contacted A&W, sent pictures and a representative requested I drop the remainder of the pie and the plastic off so they could have it investigated. That was 2 months ago and I have not heard anything back. I reached out a month ago and was told they are investigating. Luckily I kept 1 pc of the plastic and part of the pie, which I told the representative before I dropped off the other piece. Now I will be taking it further as it's completely unacceptable to have larges pieces of plastic INSIDE the food rhey are selling. Be mindful of what you eat from A&W,.check your food first. We go here often and started to notice when going in the drive through that the one woman would charge us an extra 2 to 3 dollars on our meals. We pointed it out to her a few times and she just said she recalculated it now and I was right so she adjusted the price. This is stealing. I bet she dose this to everyone and pockets the extra money that she's taking. If you go here make sure they don't over charge you. For example the other day I had a coupon 2 burgers for 6.99$ when I got to the window she was trying to charge me 12$ even with the coupons. If I had made a larger order I might have not noticed.
