Mucho Burrito Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Ajax

I came here on 16th January 2025. They lady greeted me as soon as I came in and I had a very good vibe about the place. I ordered 2 burritos and they were being made in front of me by the guy.

He accidentally burnt a burrito of a visibly Canadian customer before me and changed the tortilla right away and while changing the tortilla he burnt mine aswell but wrapped them pretty quickly and I asked him did you burn it and he said no, you can check it aswell and I said I’ll be eating it here and will check.

It was burnt and I was so hungry I ate it as I was starving and didn’t had the will power to confront or even talk about this as there were other customers present and I just chose to ignore it

But the problem was he changed the tortilla of a white person before me thinking that customer was more valuable or I don’t know what was going on in his mind.

I laugh when they say there’s racism in canada coz as Indians I’ve seen the most discrimination coming from a fellow Indian and Canadians always respected me.

The lady at the front was really nice and this review is only for the guy with a tattoo on his forearm and I think he’s the owner aswell.

I tried the veggie burrito bowl from Mucho Burrito the other day as there were no other Mexican restaurants nearby.

This was a take out order and while my burrito was being prepared, I did notice a few things.

They did not have a variety of veggies as one would see at other Mexican restaurants. The beans looked as if it was just parboiled without having any spices that enhance the flavour. Most of the veggies looked stale but I thought may be they were okay.

The burrito costed $16 which was highly priced for a relatively small bowl compared to what other Mexican restaurants offer.

When I had the first bite, it tasted absolutely bland. It lacked the taste of an actual burrito and was well below average. They added veg fajitas which did not have any spice. Also, the sour cream and other sauces seemed to be very diluted. I was quite disappointed. A homemade burrito would have definitely tasted better!

I would suggest that they should try the burritos at other places and work hard towards improving their taste...

Mucho Burrito's are usually great. NOT THIS ONE! As a person that skips the carbs this place will make you a salad. And you get to pick you protein. Every mucho Burrito I have been to(including one I was at 6 days ago) let's you pick half of one protein and half another. This has never been questioned Ever. Until now this store won't do that but what was insulting was that the manager tried to convince me that no store does it. As it's one of the only places I eat out I found it insulting he was basically calling me a liar because he is being cheap. After I threaten a bad review he said of I will give you double meat free and I said no and left. He didn't get it I was not trying to scam him I was trying to get the same service I always got. And the only reason I know about half and half is because it was their employee that suggested it when I couldn't decide. I'm not being bought off my extra meat people should know the service they can expect at...
