To start; this establishment doesn't even deserve a single star. They refuse water to customers even though it is a right in this country and as been for some time. They try and charge you almost $3 for just the cup when you ask for tap water. I have personally asked myself and have witnessed them turn away multiple other people, even children. I have come here a few times over the past year and have been extremely disappointed, time and time again. I am stuck waiting 10-15 minutes or more (I have waited 20+ mins for just fries in the past) every single time I order since they don't hire enough staff and the ones that they do seem to not care to move fast at all. Isn't this a fast food place?? A slug moves faster than these people do with 2 arms and legs. Whoever is in charge of this restaurant seriously needs to change something about it BADLY & ASAP. This place is in a very good location for business and it could do so much better if they just hired people with at LEAST a little shred of will to live.
I wont bother mentioning anything about the food quality since every other review has touched upon those factors and have explained it very well.
To whoever runs this place, if you can't bother to care to hire people that actually have good work ethic, maybe pass the place along to the next person who will. I will not support this place any longer and I'm sure tons of other people feel the same. Just check their other reviews!...
Read moreWe ordered at 6:15PM via Just-Eat and we did not receive it until 7:45PM and the food was stone cold. We called the North Ajax Store to complain about the non-receipt of the product and was able to talk to the Franchise owner of the north store. He was kind enough to call the appropriate store owner for us. Kabir Ahmad called us back at 7:32PM and while we were talking to him on the phone, the order arrived. The order was the equivalent of a frozen entree.We started to demand a refund for the product due to the poor time and quality, but were advised that because the driver had already left, they could only resend the order. The owner also advised that as an apology, they would make us a new meal in the store and provide us with a free "item" for the trouble. Already this experience had left a sour note with us and we were to the point where we are not going to go there at all. We demanded a refund again only to be told that we had to go through Just-Eat. After calling Just-Eat, they were willing to work with us and contacted the store. Just-Eat was able to negotiate that we could only get a replacement meal or 50% of the order cost since we had already received the meal. Read moreWednesday 22nd I was i orded my food at the Popeyes location on hardwood street in ajax Ontario and had the worst fast food experience in my life. After ordering my food at 4:50pm I was told there would be a 40 minute wait until my food was ready. Hungry, and a little bit frustrated I waited for the 40 minutes until my food was ready. I did not end up receiving my food until 6:10pm.No fast food place should ever take over two hours for a simple order. When I received my food I opened my box to see a pile of fries and chicken squished into each other. This was absolutely disgusting, the fries were wet and the chicken was not chrispy at all and was inedible. The batter on my boyfriends onion rings had basically fell of off them as the food was so crammed together and saugy. The drinks were also not cold due to the fridge being unstocked. I’ve worked in the fast food industry for over 3 years and never would I ever even think to give food so horrible to my customers. I spent 30$ on my food at Popeyes today and the only thing actually edible in my meal was the biscuits.
