Let me start of by saying the food was delicious. We had 3 piece meal and a chicken sandwich.
The issue I have is with the customer service. We walked in at 9:15 pm on a Friday night and They already had a portion of the restaurant with the chairs on the tables. They close at 10:00pm. We attempted to sit at a booth and an employee told us we couldn’t sit there because that section was closed and he directed us to a section we could sit at. Hard to explain, but it made no sense why we couldn’t sit at the booth. No big deal…..so we moved to the other table. I placed my order at 9:20 pm and was given a disk that would light up when my order was ready. About 24 minutes later I finally went back to the counter and asked about my order. Apparently I had timed my visit to the counter perfectly because they were working on it at that moment. There were about 8 to 10 employees behind the counter and the place steady but I would not say busy. As the employee started to back my order she was putting it in a bag, I politely reminded her that when I ordered it I said it was for dine in when I was asked. She and another employee told me we couldn’t not eat in the dining room because it was closed. It was not 10:00 PM yet. When I told them I ordered my food 25 minutes ago they gave me the option of dine in or take out The only response I received was the dining room was closed. They would not acknowledge or respond to what I had said.
We took our bag of food and went to the car where we sat and ate it.
With all that being said, as we were leaving the establishment we heard a number of people complaint about how long things took. Also, there were about 7 cars in the parking lot with numbers on them waiting for food. There was also an employee walking around swinging a bag of food and it was quite obvious she had no idea who that order was for. She eventually went back inside.
I get it, it’s a new establishment and there are growing pains. But I feel they have been open long enough to have figured these things out. I read these somewhat negative reviews and i think to myself would it have been so hard to allow a couple of customers to eat in the dining room even though you are officially closing in 5 minutes. Let’s not forget it took you 25 minutes to get my order together.
The purpose of this review is so management can correct this issue. By no way am I criticizing the young employees who were working. They follow managements lead and do what they are told . This is on the store management, not the young employees we interacted with. At the end of the day they were all very polite and the food...
Read moreI’ve been meaning to post a review about the Ajax location for a while now, but I finally have waited long enough. I visited the Ajax location on July 11, 2025. I went to purchase one combo and two piece chicken drumsticks. This was my first time at this location as I have tried other locations and enjoyed the food a lot, so I was really excited about having a location very close to home. When I initially got there at 7:36pm, I pulled directly into the drive-thru, which was completely empty and placed my order. I was then asked to wait in the parking lot and a server would bring me my order. When I initially got into the parking lot, there was one other car that was waiting for their order. As I continued to wait more cars kept pulling into the parking lot to wait for their orders. Time kept progressing, and I started to notice that the cars that came after me received their orders and continued to drive away. At this point, a total of 30 minutes had accumulated and I was still waiting for my order. A minute later, at 8:07pm the server came out with my order. Waiting 30 minutes for a drive-thru order is absolutely insane to me, I have never waited this long for any order and having to watch cars place orders after me as well as customers go into purchase their orders and leave before I received mine was even more frustrating. I immediately filled out a review after coming home and eating my meal, which was delicious however the wait for it was bizarre. I placed my review of my experience with the company and an email was sent to me saying that someone would reach out to me to discuss this experience. However, weeks have gone by and not a single person has contacted me about this. At the end of the day, I’m not looking for anything, I just think that they need to work on their customer service and put more care into their customers. As of right now, I will not recommend this location to any person, and I will definitely not be coming back.
Edit: I also do not appreciate the copy and pasted apology from Jollibee when I’ve already reached out to them about my experience through this link prior and nothing was done on their end so really this response from them...
Read moreWanted to give them a chance despite the poor reviews, because for years I've been hearing good things about Jollibee and now there's finally a location in my area.
Ordered a chicken sandwich combo and a cheesy yumburger on its own (I ordered in the dining room) — 15 mins of waiting later, constantly seeing drive-thru orders being bagged and sent out, I went to go check the status of my order.
The lady at the counter appeared to be the manager, she checked my receipt and said it wouldn't be long they were just waiting on fries. She walked away before I could point out that there was a giant pile of fries under the heat lamp . I stood there watching my 2 sandwiches sitting on the counter getting cold, while seemingly every employee not tasked with drive-thru duty just milled about —or in the case of another customer in the dining room at the time, processed a refund once they informed him it would be 20 more minutes for his fried chicken to be ready.
Finally someone noticed my order and asked the kitchen crew whether there were more fries coming... the lady in the kitchen simply pointed down at the pile under the heat lamp as if somehow every front of house employee was unable to see them.
Once I finally received my order, my sandwiches were lukewarm and the fries that held up the entire thing were completely bland, like Burger King fries that someone had forgot to season.
The chicken sandwich was decent, but literally only comes with mayo on it unless you upgrade to the deluxe sandwich with lettuce and tomatoes for another $1. For the price I would say it's not nearly as good as Mary Browns, or Popeyes.
The yumburger was as disappointing as the fries. I can't believe it cost $5.49, the patty was ridiculously small, dwarfed by the larger bun. Again, it only comes with sauce and cheese. The patty tasted pretty forgettable.
I was really looking forward to trying Jollibee and unfortunately I can't picture myself trying it again...
