After two visits to this Pizza Pizza location, I'm done with this location as I’ve had the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at any Pizza Pizza.
The first issue occurred in February when I had two coupons for free slices after a Raptors game. The server was unable to process the second coupon and had no solution or support to resolve the issue.
My second visit was even worse. I went in to buy two walk-in slices, but the server was in the back making a pizza with AirPods in, barely acknowledging me. After I placed my order, he prompted me to pay and walked away. I wanted to scan my loyalty card, so I called him back, but he didn’t hear me. I went ahead and scanned my card, and when he returned, he rudely asked why I didn’t wait for him. How was I supposed to know when the card should be scanned? He claimed it was the customer’s responsibility to ask, but that was never communicated.
At McDonald’s, Dairy Queen, and Tim Hortons, staff ask if you’re a rewards member before completing the transaction. It’s basic customer service. Instead, I was left feeling ignored and then badgered over something that should have been handled professionally. He later added some loyalty points, but by that point, the experience was already frustrating.
After two negative interactions, I won’t be returning to...
Read moreWent to this location this evening as I was craving a slice of pizza. There wasn't much pizza slices in the glass display to choose from. I ended up choosing the last Hawaiian slice for take-out; not really what I wanted but there wasn't much of a selection. I honestly must say that this is the worst pizza I've ever tasted. It was stale as ever and the entire bottom was burnt and hardened. I didn't notice this until I about 10 minutes after leaving the store and enroute to my next location or else I would have dumped the slice on their counter. I can't believe Pizza Pizza would serve such garbage let alone have someone pay for it. Needless to say, I ended up throwing the pizza slice in the garbage cause that's exactly where it belongs. My advice to Pizza Pizza, please do your due diligence of discarding your stale food and stop serving it to your customers as we are not garbage dumps. My advice to customers, please be very aware of the garbage Pizza Pizza is serving you. Go with your gut instinct, I wish I did. If you notice their display is practically empty that's usually because they need to put out fresh slices. It's also a red flag for you stay clear of ordering anything from the display. I learned a good lesson today and that is no more Pizza Pizza for me....
Read moreManager At The Westney & Hwy 2 Store is Rude and would not honor the 20 min or free guarantee. It was over 30 minutes and he told me they did not have to give me my order for free.
I got to the store at 5:50.... My order was confirmed at 5:26 My order did not appear on the warming tray until 6:00. There was a lineup and I waited my turn 5 people were served ahead of me. The girl at the counter (very polite) said that yes it was late but I had to speak to the manager... I put the pizzas in my car and came back in the store to speak to the manager - he told me that the pizza was ready when I got to the front of the line so the 20 minute guarantee does not apply. He told me that in Canada (with his thick accent) people wait in line. I asked him if I should have budded in line to get them to honor the 20 minute guarantee... he said I have to wait in line. I asked him if this was his customer service? He said they didn't owe me anything. I said I would let head office know about his lack of customer service. He then said, he'd let them know about me.
I just spent $52.00 at Pizza Pizza.
The pizza is great but the customer service is appalling. I would like to know what Head Office plans on doing about...
