Came here today for breakfast. There was a wait which was fine. The hostess' were very nice but they were hosting, bussing and we realized they were running around offering refills of coffee.
The servers looked miserable. Our waitress didn't smile at us once the entire time we were there. Our food took 20-30 minutes to get to us. When it arrived, we had to ask for cutlery. We sat there for 2 minutes with food infront of us without utensils. The waitress never came back after dropping off food to make sure it was the right order or to see if it tasted ok. She also didn't come back to us for 10 minutes after we'd stopped eating and were just sitting there.
Part of the problem for sure was how busy they were. That only explains the long wait for food. It doesn't explain the lack of guest service.
We saw no manager the entire time we were there. The tables were dirty and realistically your hosts shouldn't have to clean the tables and greet guests when its that busy. It is the last day of march break and a Sunday. They should have been staffed with at least 2 bussers to leave the hosties available to do their jobs exclusively.
Additionally, there was no glide path which meant that tables weren't getting cleared quickly and efficiently meaning that they weren't getting flipped ie. causing the wait times to be sat to go up.
It was chaotic, disorganized and the table we were sat at, had additional guest seating on the other side so that people could sit while they wait.Well, there was a child kicking my seat so aggressively that it was banging and shaking while I tried to eat.
Really poor experience and most of the issues were easily avoidable.
Disappointing to say the least.
We asked for our check eventually. The server brought it and gave us a machine said have a good day and left. I don't know if it's normal to leave a debit machine with the guest and walk away but even when leaving she didn't ask us how our experience was and...
Read moreThis was my second time coming here came 2 weeks ago service that day was amazing my breakfast included the pancakes which I got the plain because trying it for the first time didn't want all the bells and whistles I must say didn't find them to be that great considering this restaurants focus is there pancakes. Fast forward I brought my daughter here yesterday as she wanted to try different experience, as our server was taking our order she was distracted by her colleague that was serving another customer who had come in to the point I wondered if she had taken down the order correctly. I decided to give the pancakes another try and ordered the combo that came with eggs, potatoes, bacon and eggs but this time changed my pancakes to one of there many flavor options and got the NY strawberry cheesecake, my daughter ordered the same type of combo except she had French toast and substituted her meats for turkey bacon. Our order seemed to take really long then while getting my coffee refreshed we were told that her order had to be made again as the wrong toppings were placed on her French toast. Our order eventually came well partially her French toast was still being made she received 3 1/2 pieces of bacon not sure why some was missing and when I received mine there was no meat if I hadn't mentioned it was missing I wouldn't have received it. Then the pancakes were dry, dense and heavy and were overcooked as I couldn't cut through the pancakes like one should I tasted no cheesecake I took one bite and I was done. My daughter enjoyed her meal, I would agree portion sizes are worth the money but I don't think i will visit again as the star of this establishment is the pancakes but I don't feel they taste that great not sure if it's because they just opened things aren't quite up to par just felt like I've had much better...
Read moreWent to brunch with my mom today. The food was alright but under seasoned. I had blueberry cheesecake pancakes, sausages, home fries, two eggs and bacon. The pancake and the bacon were the best bites but as I said, the sausage, eggs, and home fries were under seasoned.
But this is just my personal taste. I went with my mom who had the same thing and she loved everything. She did not need nor expect more seasoning on her food.
We were seated quick and I enjoyed the atmosphere. It was very chill and laidback. I also think you absolutely get your moneys worth here. We had a lot of food and before tipping, it was a bit under $50.
Unfortunately they did serve my lemonade in a dirty glass.. I didn’t notice until I have halfway finished. Luckily they gave me a straw and I’m fully vaccinated lol
Our server Sharmy was very kind and provided fast service. She told us we came at a great time because it’s slower during the week and that on the weekends it’s very busy, so if you’d like to come here too, try to come Monday through Friday.
Overall it was a good breakfast but I was just a bit underwhelmed by some of the food; definitely stuff I could have made at home for free, but better. I’d eat here again, but maybe after a while or after enough time has pasted that I forget what my experience was like. 6.9/10.
This is just my opinion though. As I said, my mom really liked it, and I think it’s a good establishment to go to with your family or young kids. Plenty of seating and a very large...
